Lord Lucan 375 Posted September 5, 2014 So much for trying to be positive, still think that we are the most likely team to accept the poison chalice of sixth in the league owing to us having so many matches in hand!! Really dont want that to happen though as our away form is quite simply awful at the moment, couldn't win an argument never mind three points and whoever is in the top slots have mullered us once already and likely to do so again? Honestly thought we could get at least a point from Sheff this time especially with a full team but, we seem to have gone backwards, a worse performance than last time, dont know where the fight has gone we just appear to be going through the motions? Going to be nigh on impossible for any away points now cepting another bad night from P,boro next week so the best we can hope for is the remaining 12pts from our home dble headers and hope it's either "enough" or, on this form, not enough and we can call it a day!! We'll do well just to finish the league programme, think we'd better just stick to that?
Charlieboy 414 Posted September 5, 2014 Great performance from the tigers and a welcome win.Couple of poor rides from lanham then he came to life. Each rider had at least one cracking ride, lets hope it continues and we can remain injury free.Cant see andre back this year so a lot of pressure on r/r.
Shadders 4,136 Posted September 5, 2014 If I was a Comets fan I would be deeply upset with this defeat Never mind them, that's peed me off too. Was counting on the Comics to take a points at least away with them
jamlad 48 Posted September 5, 2014 If you can't run a bottom of the league team close pretty much no point of making the playoffs !! We will be the first team picked if we were in them anyhow. Time to draw a line under this season, best team on paper but garbage on the track , hopefully we have speedway at Worky again next season and have a good shake up , cos for one reason or another it just hasn't happened this year . EIS002 159 Posted September 5, 2014 Leigh had bike problems but could not swap quick enough before his R/R changed bike and was on it. This team needs Leigh's experience and commitment to bring on the younger / future Tigers.
relic 23 Posted September 5, 2014 What a fantastic nights racing. But you can only get a night like that when you have the track to do it on. Well don to Eric, Graham, and farmer John for producing the best one of the season. And that was after Stock Car meeting. Well done and thanks

Terrible choice of guest in Aaron Fox. Couldn't score a point at reserve when Edinburgh were there, so no surprise he scored bugger all at number 2. With a full strength side we'd have taken 3, possibly 4 points last night. We have Edinburgh & Scunthorpe at home as well as an away trip to Peterborough to finish off a dismal campaign. Looks like you're favourites to avoid the wooden spoon. Edited September 5, 2014 by Shadders
