Poole to pull a shock win out of the bag. Havvy to blame it on the ref.

Not sure it would be a shock when we are without Andersen and Poole have beat us before.

Hard to judge without knowing who is guesting for Hans as only Leicester & King's Lynn not racing that night

I've said they should on the Facebook page but to be honest they will get a decent crowd anyway so can see why the promotion haven't. If it wasn't Poole they probably would have, they have done in the past and without it being a Sky match.

TBF the crowd size is usually good at Brandon anyway, even more so when we are against Poole or Wolves even at full price.

Do we know that Hans is definitely not riding, as he is supposed to be riding at the weekend ?

He's hoping to try and take his place in the Euro final round but think he may struggle as won't be able to drop the clutch. I would be surprised if he completes the meeting.

Coventry are hoping he will be fit to return after the international break.

With only two teams not riding on Monday, Sam Masters or RR must be the best options to cover Hans.

He could always do what Peter Collins did in the 1973 KO Cup Final after breaking his wrist. He simply moved the clutch lever to the other side and had the clutch and throttle together.

Coventry should easily win this by 12-14 points. Benji Compton mark 2...I mean Starke,Gomolski and Watt won't trouble the scorers very much!!!

Think you should go with R/R if Hans is unfit .. Funny really to think a couple of weeks ago a few Bees fans wanted the bloke out after a bad score ..Now there panicing that he wont be riding !! FICKLE OR WHAT !!

Could only happen in Coventry. Last year they ALL wanted Havvy out, top of the league now, not prepared to give the bloke a fair crack.. FICKLE OR WHAT !!

As you said in your post, that was just a few bees fans, luckily the rest were supportive of him.

I don't remember many wanting him out last year, it was the year before many didn't think he was up to the job and to be fair we had a terrible season that year, we finished bottom of the league and had some shockers. Luckily he's improved a lot and shows a lot of passion for Coventry. He's helping our fast draft riders with advice and set ups and is now doing a great job.
