Coventry V Wolves Friday 10th July

Recommended Posts

Strewth!!! Two teams listed in riding order on a bees topic. That's a few less programme sales tonight. Mr H won't be happy.

I did wonder when I saw Bates listed but assumed Sheffield was a rearranged fixture.

Cov to get 60.

You obviously haven't watched us a lot recently.

40 points would almost be like an away win with this lot recently.

You almost had me feeling sorry for you there, Steve.... :D

I was thinking that last night after seeing mdmc82's edited post with the team in the correct order. Even Neil has not done them alphabetically this morning. Thank you Neil ~ my £2.50p will go in the bucket for the SRBF tonight.

I thought I would put it in order to help 😀

Blackbird as declared himself well to ride tonight.

I agree. Blackbird & Bates are one of the strongest reserve pairings on our track, both have had good meetings at Coventry.

Wells is a track specialist and PK scored 20 on his last visit! Musielak is now a 2nd string which should make it easier for him whilst it will be more of a challenge for Wells as he's now a heat leader.

Nobody knows which Lindgren or Andersen will turn up tonight.

For the bees, it's Risky having Harris at number 1 although if he rides like he has it the last couple of home meetings then we are in for a treat.

Sarjeant it still returning from injury. Robson is struggling. King has been in brilliant form but will have harder rides as back as a heat leader again.

As we know, anything can happen on the night

Predicted 49-41

I'm a big Wells fan but even for me that is over exaggerating at it's best

Why? He is an ex bees rider so knows the track very well.

I'm predicting a "couldn't care less about the result" from Beowulf. Another failed season. Back in the early seventies I saw us win 3 years out of 4 at Brandon, now those were the days.

I'd be looking at scores and record at the track before calling someone a track specialist.

have just quickly looked back through the updates site and found the 2009 scores when he was a Bees rider.

a home average of around 2.15 is what he ended the season with. that was with majority of meetings at reserve as well.

looking at the meetings whilst he's been a wolves rider his scores are higher, in 6 meetings he's scored the following:

2011 - 3+1 at reserve

2012 - 7 and 7+1 in main body

2013 - 9

2014 - 6+1

2015 - 8+2

admittedly his scores have improved since he left but I can't say those are the scores of a track specialist
