Ipswich Witches Vs Workington Comets Thurs 6th Aug Pl

Recommended Posts

Witches really must win this one with clubs behind them all getting closer and with matches in hand over the Witches . The Comets are only 8 points behind with 4 matches in hand but thou they have won all their home matches they are yet to pick up a point away from home

Still waiting on team news nothing on the Witches website but reports are on Stephen Foster Twitter is that last years Witch Richie Worrall will be a guest for the Witches in place of the injured Nico Covatti who is due to be out for about 3 weeks .

R/R still for the suspended Rohan Tungate , would imagine rest of Witches will be the riding .

Isn't it pathetic that a local radio bloke releases team news before the club's own website. Well I think it is anyway.

It is very poor from the Witches , in this day and age where social media is so vast and widespread you would have thought that the Witches would be able to do a better job in keeping up and letting the fans know what is going on .

Is the guest in Nicos position with r/r for Rohan?

Surely would be best with r/r for Nico so that Danny can take a ride.

If Richie is the guest doesnt he fit for either??

Thought we had to use guest for Nico as can't have guest for Rohan as he is banned

Last week Danny could take a ride for Rohan R/R but the new averages took affect on Aug 1st which now means Rohan is behind Nico

What are the riders new averages? I hope nico's average doesn't end up to high that he is left out of next year's team.

Worthingtons first away win this year, then Newcastle, then Redcar and then Berwick that's 12 points + the home meetings as well. Plymouth and us in the play off,s. ( or we could just stick with our usual 38 points away.)

The timing is generally pretty sluggish, but match reports (and similar) are not of a high standard either, and often have various typos.

Sending best wishes to 'Kewis' for example is really, really poor, in my opinion. It only takes 2 minutes to proofread. Hardly a time consuming task.

We all know that ipswich are rubbish when it comes to keeping the fans informed... Why are we surprised?

The Twitter feed is generally good, and keeps people up to date quite quickly usually.
