Wolverhampton 2016

What? Is that the same crowd pleaser who let Bellevue, Lakeside and Coventry down? Oh and is that the bloke who 'gave it his all' with his fake shoulder injury and couldn't ride for Poole but jolly well rode in Poland?

The guy is a liability and WILL LET YOU DOWN!!

He didn't let Belle Vue down. As SCB has said he can be a world beater or get beat by reserves, that's the type of rider he is but when he was with Belle Vue there were very few poor performances. If you look at the Belle Vue web site many would have him back and think the risk is not if he will let us down but whether last year was a one off.

As Wolves are racing home every other week, surely the bspa could see the opportunity here with Tai Woffinden? He wants 1 race night a week as main issue to ride in the UK, well this isn't impossible now. Given him being double British world champion we would no doubt feature in many sky Monday's away now a window exists? On away meetings that were not Monday's, run as many as you can before the first Gp and Swedish league starting. He'll bring in money wherever he rides so every club benefits and so do the fans, but it would need the entire league coordinated to persue the World Champion on this marvelous opportunity.

He'd be an awesome signing.

They need a big name, a crowd pleaser, a track specialist, someone who you know will give their all.

KK is that man.

I keep telling stevebrum that KK is on his way to Wolves but he doesn't believe me :t:

It sounds like you are suggesting that the Elite League should revolve around Tai Woffinden. Good as it would be to have him riding in this country, no rider can ever be bigger than the sport.

Let's see who signs him then.

Personally speaking I couldn't care less, so long as it's not us.

Damn right mate!

The league needs him more than he needs us. The most marketable rider in a decade and nothing is done to entice him to race!

I think Tai has disproved your last sentence - he is bigger than the sport in this country!

He did let Belle Vue down. I remember Chris Morton complaining about his performances when the going got tough towards the end of the season. That was the last seen of him in Aces colours.

He rode in every league match and ended with an average of 8.23. The going didn't get tough towards the end of the season, we finished bottom. Not sure what you mean by that was the last seen of him in Aces colours, he saw the season out but has not been signed by Belle Vue since, just as Anderson and Harris haven't after their spells at Belle Vue.

My recollection is that he had only a couple of really poor meetings, which included an away match at Coventry. As I said in my earlier post the feeling on the Belle Vue web site seems to be that he would be welcomed back even acknowledging his tendency to occasionally lose to some relatively poor riders. Zagar had the same problem. The reservations are about his form last year.
