Aces51 2,778 Posted November 14, 2015 No way will Richie be a tier 2 reserve. Could be be one of the tier one not picked by anyone?
mdmc82 2,878 Posted November 14, 2015 Steve Boxall being mentioned on the Belle Vue fans site. Edit: Didn't see Phil's clue but fits. Wouldn't both Boxall and Steve Worrall be tier 1 riders?
Aces51 2,778 Posted November 14, 2015 Could be but didn't the rules say that any tier one not picked could then be picked as part of the tier 2 picks.

Phil The Ace 2,862 Posted November 14, 2015 Boxall is in tier 2 and is top of the list if it goes on PL averages.
mdmc82 2,878 Posted November 14, 2015 (edited) Boxall is in tier 2 and is top of the list if it goes on PL averages. How's he in tier 2 when he's been around for years and was in tier 1 this season just gone? Edited November 14, 2015 by mdmc82
mikec 412 Posted November 14, 2015 Boxall's got talent, seen him have some decent races in the past. But surely a huge gamble, in terms of having machinery for a full season, been injury issues too, retiring mid-season etc. Would love to be proved wrong, not got a great feeling about this option though. Aces51 2,778 Posted November 14, 2015 (edited) Which is probably why he wasn't picked by anyone so far. I'm sure we would have had Stefan but Swindon chose before us. However, Boxall clearly has ability and could do a good job but I agree has a worrying history. Edited November 14, 2015 by Aces51
stevebrum 6,827 Posted November 14, 2015 Boxall appears a rusk even in tier 2. Doubt anyone would take the risk. Talented but hardly reliable.
Aces51 2,778 Posted November 15, 2015 Boxall appears a rusk even in tier 2. Doubt anyone would take the risk. Talented but hardly reliable. Without seeing the list it is difficult to know if the risk is worth taking. It must depend on what the alternatives are but having been stitched up by the ridiculous decision to use PL averages we may not have any other realistic option.

Amongst other excuses, Manchester is too far from his London home.
