Shale Searcher 1,264 Posted March 26, 2016 (edited) After a narrow 8pt defeat at Brandon last night, the Lions take on the Coventry Bees tonight at Beaumont Park, 7.30pm.. Weather a tad iffy, but been at track all day yesterday, packed as tight as a drum, all drains cleaned, and ready to take rain. Weather forecast now not as bad, and has improved hour by hour the last 24hrs. Rain forecast at the moment to fall between 3pm ish and 6pm ish, track should easily take it, the good hour to dissipate any puddles, should be all systems go....!!! Game On 1,117 Posted March 26, 2016 Easy home win
beckettlion 195 Posted March 26, 2016 Wouldn't say it'll be an easy home win, but think the lions should get over the line. Expect more from Wozniak and houggard round our own place and should hopefully make up the difference. 47-43 would be my guess.
mdmc82 2,878 Posted March 26, 2016 I think Leicester will do well at home this season. It's away they will struggle even with the reserve pairing. Bates & Sarjeant both struggle at Leicester & Kacper hadn't ridden there before. If the weather behaves then I predict 50-
Mr Bump 256 Posted March 26, 2016 Having seen the irritatingly smiley man on the BBC weather an hour ago, think the rain might be the winner here. Or a heavy, wet track could level the playing field. Would at the very least predict Josh Bates will fall off at some point.
Woz01 3,589 Posted March 26, 2016 Garrity scored well for Sheffield at Leicester last week, will need something like that from him to get a win but I will go for 48-42 Leicester.
SCB 3 Posted March 26, 2016 As I see it, I fully expect with the make up of both teams the same riders to score very similar. Bees have a strong top 2 while Leicester have weak heat leaders while Bees bottom 4 is not the best but Leicester have a couple of strong reserves. It comes down to how each teams second strings and 3rd heat leader perform really - last night Coventrys won out but tonight it could go either way. I expect Walasek and Wozniak to score a few more but I equally expect a few more from Garrity. 47-43 to Leicester I think

JamieE 123 Posted March 26, 2016 (edited) The forecasted heavy rain has just started in Coventry. Given it's arrived bang on time, maybe it will clear on time too and give the meeting a chance to go ahead. Edited March 26, 2016 by JamieE

mdmc82 2,878 Posted March 26, 2016 (edited) Has anybody seen Josh Bates video from the track on Facebook. Would be very surprised if it doesn't get rained off. Doubt the racing will be up to much if track is soaking as video & pictures show. Don't want any injuries Edited March 26, 2016 by mdmc82
