r77toy 13 Posted April 9, 2016 Does anyone know of a flat or studio for rent July 6 thru July 11 around Bristol, Bath, Chippenham area? Looking for something with 1 bedroom, a kitchen and washing machine. I would rather spend my $ with a speedway supporter.

r77toy 13 Posted April 11, 2016 We'll be staying in Bristol from July 6 thru July 11. Visiting Poole on Wednesday, Swindon on Thursday, Somerset Friday and of course Cardiff Saturday. Look for the ugly Americans wearing Broc Nicol shirts
r77toy 13 Posted April 12, 2016 We'll be in Section U2 Row 6 Seats 22 and 23. The wife will be waving the Polish flag, her grandfather's homeland.
OveFundinFan 4,143 Posted April 12, 2016 Not wavin the American flag then, there will be an American rider there nearly as old as your wifes granfather and with a chance of winning the gran prix (sorry Greg)
r77toy 13 Posted April 12, 2016 Of course we will be cheering for Greg, the wife wants to meet some of the polish fans. We have never been to Speedway anywhere but Southern California. There have been a few World Speedway Invitational events a few years ago and the World Team Cup Finals in 1985 and 88. And of course the 1982 World Final. We have been attending Speedway together since 1978.

We have been attending Speedway together since 1978. You will meet plenty of Polish fans but you might need to speak to them early in the day before they have been in the pub for 5 hours. They are very friendly but some will be a bit inebriated.

r77toy 13 Posted April 29, 2016 When do they mail out the tickets? Paid through TicketMaster, postage to USA was almost as much as the tix
Triple.H. 1,986 Posted April 29, 2016 It may be worth contacting the company you've bought the tickets off to see if you can get them delivered to the UK if you know anyone they could be sent too. Or arrange to collect them on the day. Unless of course they can guarantee delivery to your home address before you leave. As you seem to be paying a Kings Ransom for delivery you would hope yours are sent out well in advance.
