Hans Won 22 World Titles and so far Tai has Won 2

Yes I thought it was 21 aswel but it said 22 online

During his career, Nielsen won a total of 22 World Championships, making him arguably the most successful speedway rider of all time.

Hans was the ultra professional rider and great to watch.

Yeah, Briggo helped Tatum in 1985/86 (87?) on speedway then Mauger had a little involvment with Kelv's later longtrack wins. Think Mauger also had the odd word with with Simon Wigg, as again did Briggo I think, from time to time....

Yes Hans was ultra professional, typical Scandinavian who IMO far more professional than the Aussies!

If tai wins 5 individual titles I think he will be regarded as more successful.

No world pairs title these days which gave Hans 7 of his. And tai's backup in the swc of the likes of Harris cook king etc. doesn't really compare with gundersen pedersen and knudsen does it?

Who knows if tai will join team Aussie next year along side holder and doyle and go on to win several world cups.

All those Gem who were convinced super TW would run a training school in the summer for the British kids have gone quiet.

Individual world titles are how riders from different countries should be judged. Tai can do nothing about the level of his fellow countrymen.

As such, Tai has every change of emulating Hans.
