Gemini 4,894 Posted June 18, 2016 (edited) It's a big ask for Garrity to guest at number 5 for Leicester esp with it being his first meeting back after his crash. Yes, and now he's had another one. With a better score from the guest and not throwing so many points away Leicester could have surprisingly won this. Enjoyed it anyway and the other half went as well so left Lucy and Molly at home on cat patrol. I'm rather worried about Coventry's visit now as I think Lions will beat us pretty easily, depending on who the guest is of course. Terry 1,319 Posted June 18, 2016 All British line-up for Belle Vue tonight. When was the last time that happened in the EL?
Cross Roads 51 Posted June 19, 2016 Nice to see a bit of effort made by the winning home riders lap of honour with the lions flag. For one minute I thought it was an entertainment business lol.. Now for the return of some start line girls and completion of mowing the lawn.
CB252 1,376 Posted June 19, 2016 Looks like Belle Vue's famous good luck struck again. Being able to replace two struggling riders, with a known dislike of Leicester, with 'track specialist' and GP star Harris and rr looked good on paper and the actual scores back that up. There's no way we would ever get 14 between them in an el meeting so the 14 we did get from their rides was a huge bonus. Even then it was a Leicester gaff which handed The Aces the points. Quite why they picked one of the lowest averaging second strings as a guest was a mystery and it did look like a huge mistake, it was no surprise when another dismal score meant the win was pretty much handed to Belle Vue on a plate. Not quite lucky enough to get all 4 points but I hope we don't use up all our good luck in the qualifiers again. And he's off again. Try and keep the posts shorter, less boring and less similar to about a million other identical posts you've made. Quite enjoyed this match as a neutral. Probably the best I've seen at BP. I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility that Zagar and Fridge would have scored 14 between them. Or did I miss a sarcastic tone? one of clubs 116 Posted June 19, 2016 I was there last night and what a good win this was from an understrength Aces side. Wins like this win titles, no question. One thing that disappointed me last night was the fact that there was no victory parade. Aces til I die.

Yep, proper sore loosers from Leicester speedway and disgraceful for not giving us a victory parade. I've lost all respect for their promotion now. Well done belle vue for sticking it up them.

One thing that disappointed me last night was the fact that there was no victory parade. Aces til I die. I agree that was strange and there should have been one, especially as there were so many Aces fans there. And he's off again. I thought it was an interesting post myself and one that I agreed with. Best match I've seen so far was the Kings Lynn one, although I missed all the action when the lights went out unfortunately as I was on the 3rd bend. This one was pretty good, even though Leicester threw it away.

Well done belle vue for sticking it up them. If there is an MDL match, as there was last night, they always run 2 heats of that straight after heat 15, then do interviews with team managers, riders etc. , but I don't know whether that consists of a victory parade as well, as I disappear after heat 15. That as been the procedure this season, not sure if they have a victory parade if Lions win, I can't remember that far back!
speedibee 3,091 Posted June 19, 2016 Leicester will never be any other night but Saturday as they have tried other nights and it's been awful crowds. The huge amount of rain last night I wonder if it's on ? are they dropping back to prem then? because 2017 elite is 1 racenight and that is not Saturday
TMW 533 Posted June 19, 2016 are they dropping back to prem then? because 2017 elite is 1 racenight and that is not Saturday Well they may have gone Fri night but I seem to remember your lot protesting because they share a fan base but when they track share someone will have to move leagues as 1 league 1 night 1 track 2 teams don't equate
