Crump99 4,476 Posted December 5, 2016 Think Ged has messed up again. It's been a management team for years now, the blame is shared equally so as to be non specific.
Baldyman 6,243 Posted December 5, 2016 (edited) He hasn't messed up, but is putting a competitive team together within a budget with riders that are available on your race day. You may not have a team to watch if it wasn't for him, don't forget that. I'm sure Plymouth would love a ged. Edited December 5, 2016 by baldyman

Panthers89 1,922 Posted December 5, 2016 People need to be realistic, Harris will want top end dollar, probably similar to his elite league pay packet. Our riders we've signed either are based or well committed to the league, we've got talented riders who can improve, this seasons team is tonnes better than that we started this season with. Be realistic, Ully and Lambert was always going to sign, the work they do the for club outside is superb, so they bring in money, for a promoter that is valuable! Throw in a couple of riders who love the home track in Hansen and Holder and a couple of solid away riders in Starke and BWD and probably one of the better 2.00 riders in the league in Bacon, what else could Ged do with what resources are available! He went for bust tail end of last season as we were in the position of silverware! Quicker people get it into there heads that were not a club with an endless pot of money the better!
poolebolton 464 Posted December 5, 2016 Holder will get better will ride for Poole and will improve and will invest in new engines for Poole/Torun which will mean he will get faster and he will get better don't worry.

hans fan 1,001 Posted December 5, 2016 I cant imagine the rumoured 1-7 is what Ged wanted tbh. he could write his 1to7 on a bit of paper and sign it and you still be posting a load of 5h1te
TheScotsman 2,483 Posted December 5, 2016 Maybe the team is just to annoy one or two BSF posters?
New era Panthers 2,055 Posted December 5, 2016 So you are telling me when the rules were announced the rumoured line up is Ged's preferred 1-7? Nobody said that now did they.

Crump99 4,476 Posted December 5, 2016 (edited) Yes I do understand and totally agree with it . Hence if riders don't hit the ground running or get there pretty quickly then there can't be any fannying about, as is traditionally Panthers strategy until it's too late, although Rathbone does seem a bit more pro-active than those who preceded him. Would have been better to stick last year though but that's a different story. If we get it wrong this year then those soon to be announced record season ticket sales will be needed at the end of July.
