*JJ 512 Posted November 2, 2016 And Kent ? Drury has categorically denied that he delayed the match. Obviously, if you are one of these people who assume that he is always lying, then that is your problem.
00000 1,279 Posted November 2, 2016 Come on, Richard. That would be to suggest that they actually read and take notice of what we say Looks like they do read and take notice. There was enough of a fuss in advance
brianbuck 928 Posted November 4, 2016 If as rumours suggest that Lakeside will be joining the NL next season, I can't' see Drury hanging onto Zach next year. Don't forget - National League clubs aren't allowed to have assets.

brianbuck 928 Posted November 4, 2016 Theoretically, they will, but I would expect them to either come to some kind of arrangement with another club to "keep" their assets for them, or else they would "cash them in" as it were. Birmingham were deprived of the admittedly few assets that they held, when the Brummies dropped down to the National League in 2015 and were also not allowed to retain the four riders who were signed on at the start of the 2015 season when the "no assets" rule was introduced. SCB 0 Posted November 20, 2016 I know Im 3 weeks behind but Ive only just picked up on this updating speedway-stats.co.uk Firstly, the referee messed up, as the error had not been flagged in time then Shanes should have been allowed to ride. However, once he was (illegally) stopped from riding, Birmingham should have switched R/R to number 1 and used the blank at #2, it would have allowed Tom Perry an extra ride. Possibly making no difference but would have given more options. In short a totally cock up from both teams and the referee.
