the name change is irrelevant, it wont change anything at all

 

The strange thing is on radio Sheffield before the play off final they said the winner of the play off final would be "Promoted" to the Premier League (they don't do speedway normally)

 

how ever as it happens they were correct, Somerset won the play offs, moved up a league and will ride in the premier league

 

So maybe they knew more than the speedway experts knew after all.

The league names are the least of the sport's worries.

 

What sort of credibility is there when the majority of riders will be riding for at least two teams in 2017.

 

Imagine a Sheffield v Coventry play off final where Lasse Bjerre and Josh Bates ride for Sheffield and Coventry use guests for Lasse Bjerre and Josh Bates.
