Paddy The Rebel 300 Posted November 17, 2016 So what determines a 3.00 rider then?
madsteve 52 Posted November 18, 2016 So what determines a 3.00 rider then? My understanding is a rider who has never rode in our league comes in on a 2.00 average. The 3.00 average is still valid to certain riders who rode number 7 last season.
Dandelion 775 Posted November 18, 2016 (edited) I think 3.00ers are riders who have had more than a 3.00 average in the past, but now have only a 3.00 average, Mitchell Davey for example (I think) Where 2.00ers are riders who have never ridden in our league or riders who have ridden in our league and have not achieved over a 3.00 average before? (I think) I'm not sure what riders between 2 and 3 would be, whether they'd go down to 2.00 or whether they'll be 2.56 for example This is my understanding although I'm probably wrong Speedway is confusing Edited November 18, 2016 by Dandelion

For example, JPB has never ridden in the premier league (championship, whatever ) so will start on a 2.00. Danny Phillips for Newcastle didn't achieve a 3.00 average at the end of the season, so his average will drop to a minimum of 2.00

DiamondGlory 58 Posted November 19, 2016 Great signing for them, although I wish he came back to Brough, never saw it happening though, gonna leave Newcastle with a very long tail I kind of wanted both the Worrall's back, but I had a bad feeling history would repeat itself and one of would somehow end up having a bad season. Dandelion 775 Posted November 19, 2016 (edited) Sure Carr at Berwick will get the 2.5%discount so makes him 4.69 This'll be Carr's 5th year in the PL and it is only the first 3 he gets a reduction I think, so 4.81 is right Edited November 19, 2016 by Dandelion
