Anzum 250 Posted August 15, 2017 Who do the Rebs have in their line-up for the following night? Was a cracker last time, with Swindon winning it in the last heat with 5-1 from Doyley and Bellego. Somerset have Bates for Heeps and Todd Kurtz for Allen . Lawson rides for Somerset. We have Sarjeant for Zach.
hagonshocker 1,956 Posted August 15, 2017 (edited) Somerset have Bates for Heeps and Todd Kurtz for Allen . Lawson rides for Somerset. We have Sarjeant for Zach.Good job they haven't got a curfewWe are stronger Friday than last time there with obviously Tofler and a better form Ellis and Bradley fingers crossed feeling ok but regards to Thursday I have to agree with Lisa it seems mad that the side Rebels are battling for 4th are allowing two of there's to guest unless of course they are riding as special agents?! Crazy sport Edited August 15, 2017 by hagonshocker
coomie 191 Posted August 15, 2017 Good to see Starke riding for the Rebels again, he always gives 100%, not so sure about Doolan and Kennett though.how many times have we used Kennett and he looks like he can't be bothered .
keef robin 551 Posted August 15, 2017 Kennett has appeared in more heats at Swindon more than some home riders!
Buttons 370 Posted August 15, 2017 how many times have we used Kennett and he looks like he can't be bothered . And Doolan !!!!!!!!!
Cliffeboy 577 Posted August 15, 2017 how many times have we used Kennett and he looks like he can't be bothered .Still haven't forgotten the Play off final when he replaced Ollie Allen at No 1 and didn't beat anyone out of their top five, we lost by a point. drew2 251 Posted August 15, 2017 Looking at the other fixtures on Thursday, the doubling up riders and of course the averages they (Kennett and Starke) are pretty much the only options available to the Rebels as guests. Another great one in the wonderful world of speedway we have Paul Starke, a Somerset asset I believe, who we dropped in May, who rode against us on Monday for Leicester and now is back in Rebels colours three days later. Wonder if he will dust off his team suit from the start of the season for one night only to look the part???
Najjer 2,890 Posted August 16, 2017 What a joke this match has become. Surely just surely, even with the amount of fixtures Swindon have left, there must of been a better date available? The fact we have Kennett and Starke riding for us is even more of a joke.

Any potential change to this fixture would have meant you losing call on Grajczonek and Wright as well as it would have become a re-arranged fixture! That's what happens when you sign 3 doubling up riders who all race for other league Clubs on the same night.

DunRobin 465 Posted August 16, 2017 Good point. If only I wasn't on me 'olidays mate!! Disgraceful, sun & booze in the Canaries instead of raising the roof for the Robins!
keef robin 551 Posted August 16, 2017 Showers forecast for tomorrow.
A ORLOV 8,628 Posted August 17, 2017 We had quite a bit of rain during the night but now is sunny and windy so the track should be fine. The forecast has changed and now just predicts a brief shower around 8pm, so the meeting should be ok. We are likely to get a win and three points which will increase our lead over BV at the top of the league.
Najjer 2,890 Posted August 17, 2017 This has the makings of a 60-30 all over it I think....
Mattfordfan 286 Posted August 17, 2017 Swindon facing a team at the right time again. Somerset extremley weakend but at least it does Poole a favour. Heeps or Doolan - Heeps Lawson or Kennett - Lawson any day of the week Allen or Starke - Allen
