Baldyman 6,243 Posted August 12, 2022 (edited) Now the dust has settled,, it's time to be truthful,,,, we are gonna struggle to beat any team over 2 legs in the play offs,,,,and looking at the stars reserve,,, we really do need to start looking properly for available riders when one is needed. If Doyle is to be kept next season on a near on 11 average,,, we will need riders on a low average that will improve. How embarrassing against the whipping boys!!! The Prem is full of riders capable of beating each other - most of them blow hot and cold simply because of that (King and Batchelor have been perfect examples of that this season - as have several of the KL riders). KL have got riders with lots of Foxhall experience who ride the track well - so it was always going to be a tough match. Doyle will always be the difference in a match like this, because even he will admit that he shouldn't be beaten by any of the other riders on show. The Witches rode their luck, and got stuck with a bit of determination - something they haven't done anywhere near enough in recent seasons. An entertaining, although not great, speedway meeting, with a surprising result. KL will still finish Top 5, which is in the top percentile of their all time league finishes

Doyle jumped the start clearly 3 times out of his 6 rides and Bitchelor also jumped twice. It was actually unbelievable how the referee let one of them go, let alone all 5. Daylight robbery!! The sport is done, dead! Good to know that every time a Deadbeet made the start that it was perfectly fair. If the sport is dead, that saves you a few quid in the future

He guaranteed he would take the any loses and you made the step and did well. Deadbeat, your a proper speedway fan. i can tell.. Nothing ever signed , nothing ever completed , no funds changing hands..... Who can say whether 'the guarantee' had it been required would've been forthcoming.....

How embarrasing against the whipping boys!!! If you had that team at the start of the season you would be higher up the league but changes made too late to matter. Not embarrassing at all we had two riders making their debut and one with engine trouble all night. In the end you threw the match away which you should’ve won. I would have Erik Riss back again as he will be on a low average and looked good before his injury. The riders were doing a great job of lowering their averages at BV the other night. Even without riding his average will change (and probably rise) as the sample size is reducing to just the last 10 meetings If someone has the time and inclination it could be easily calculated from the last 10 league meetings ....... He certainly won't be on a bargain then,, as some points scored at reserve. There are so many good young riders in the under 21s in the last few years,, we really should be seeing who is available for next season.
