Tonight could be fun at Sheffield

1, if Sheffield want us in semi they will want to loose tonight.

2, if we want Ipswich in semi we want to loose tonight.

Say if that’s what both teams want could be an interesting 15 races. Slowest times wins lol

With some of our performances around Owlerton, it will be difficult to tell whether we are trying or not. On the other hand, Sheffield riders will have no such excuse.

The other alternative is a rain off, according to forecast, heavy rain in Sheffield around tea time.

It was better when the top team had a pick of the Semi's, at least a small reward for ending top. I agree with other posters, absolutely unacceptable to have fixtures outstanding considering the summer we have had.

I think a rain off will pretty much suit everyone involved

Not sure. I think aces would prefer Ipswich. Well I would anyway

Sheffield is best looking team on paper and if they all click that’s curtains for any team

Rain forecast from 4pm to midnight, be surprised if this isn't pulled before 5pm!

They pulled the last attempts at 1pm with dry and warm weather all afternoon and evening. So this should be off by now if they are consistent

Both teams will want Ipswich as they are pretty dump at home and very poor at Belle Vue and a bit better at Sheffield,, although still bad enough to get their behinds hadded to them on a platter

The rain does seem to be going passed the west of Sheffield. They not getting heavy rain so could be a wet one but able to race.

a late decision is the fairest here. They could even get no rain if the wind slightly changes this afternoon

Sheffield cannot meet Ipswich in the play offs, a win tonight would take Sheffield top of the table and therefore mean they meet Wolves in the play offs, a defeat tonight means they would meet Belle Vue again in the play offs.

As Sheffield have 5 home fixtures, 6 if tonights match is postponed, to arrange in the final 5 weeks of the season why are they not announcing the first leg of the League cup final against Kings Lynn for next Thursday? As Sheffield will not be involved in the play offs next Thursday regardless of who they meet and Kings Lynn also have no meeting?

Think of the crowds. No guarantee you two will meet in the final

Yeah. Sheffield have a choice. Lose and face belle Vue or win and face wolves. Their future is in their own hands. If they want belle Vue then they will just postpone tonight when the rain hits.

if they want wolves they will do all they can to get it on.

something they should have done 2 or 3 weeks ago

Of course. Who the promotors want and who the fans want will be 2 totally different things. They will think of the ££££ fans will think of who they can beat
