Birmingham v plymouth Wednesday

Recommended Posts

First visit to Perry Barr last night with the rest of my fellow Bar Bandits. Fair play to Birmingham who got the job done last night. One thing you couldn't take away from the Gladiators last night was everyone was putting it on the line for the badge. Thanks to Rory Schlein, Simon Lambert and Matt Marson for their efforts. Rory was a pleasure to watch along with Simon's never say die attitude to fight for every point. Credit to Marson as well because we all accept it was going to be a tough night for him but actually in his third and final ride he wasn't that far off the pace at all and looked comfortable on the bike going around that track.

Credit to Garry May, Mark Phillips and the riders for coming over to the dozen or so Bar Bandits on Bend One/Two to show their appreciation for our support last night. Shouldn't go without a mention there were other Gladiator fans dotted around Perry Barr last night too. Crowd didn't look any better than a busy night at the Colosseum and I was somewhat disappointed with how flat the evening was. Lovely to have some Brummies fans wish us all the best and safe travels home post the meeting last night too.

And you the Petulant child has not left - I thought with all your talk about not attending a meeting until Rogers leaves - now with Dickson you would be going - but reading this you didn’t even attend to support the 2nd home win of the season. Asking for updates!! Pearson scored 8+1 more than Hagon - Nielson - Starke - Bowtell - so yes I think he made a difference :-)

I think that might be down to James having 6 rides as opposed to the other's 4 ?

Clown!

I actually thought teams won by the score not the amount of rides a rider had - talk about a clown !! Actually scored in 5 rides was taken out in one but that is another conversation - Your comment was “he wouldn’t make a difference “ - 8 points is a difference - DH - Contributed more then most - what more do you want ???

Anyway you are boring !

And you call me a petulant child ? amongst other names!

James made no difference to the result, which was what I was responding to....if you had the intelligence to follow a forum conversation.

As for 'boring' ? You're not even that !

Pearson had speed last night, something he has always lacked when riding for Birmingham.

Can you explain what was "flat" - are you meaning atmosphere wise? We haven't exactly had much to shout about tbh........Hope you enjoyed your visit regardless.
