Airhorns they do make such noise

As supporters do rejoice

 

They come from every part of World

To see this Chamionship unfurl

Doesn't matter who wins this phase

All come to watch best riders race

 

The crowd within a bright array

With all their colours on display

They make sure their local teams

Full regailia will be seen

 

The excitement starts with full parade

Of all the stars who made the grade

For Grand Prix Series qualified

Or wild card entry was applied

 

Now the one off tracks been graded

All suporters have invaded

The first heat it gets underway

First four riders on display

 

Unseeded riders they're first on

And at first the lanes are drawn

They advance from heat to heat

Only if they others beat

 

Elimination races come along

Where last two riders they are gone

As the numbers do deplete

Enter lads who are elite

 

At this stage gets so exciting

All riders for survival fighting

Engine failure or a crash

Elimination looms within next dash

 

When your in the final eight

Much more tension at that gate

Keep your form at this phase

First or Second in final race

 

The atmosphere is then at best

As four best riders do contest

Who will win FIM Grand Prix

Who will British Champion be

 

When the final race is won

And celebrations have begun

You'll be proud that you were there

To see best riders show their flair

Every club has got a few

Then of course the ticket line

Still can book them still have time

 

Excitement builds as weeks do pass

Unitil that day has come at last

At the stadium I'll be there
