If I was lucky enough to be in a position to build a track/club from scratch (with some very deep pockets) the first thing I'd be doing is following the Industry Hills model in the US where the track is essentially in a giant open sided warehouse. No rain offs to worry about. Then it would need to be big enough to facilitate 7 aside 4g football pitches, possibly a gym attached. You could run event's/summer/Christmas festivals etc there Making the track suitable for other disciplines such as flat track would also be a must. Because the vast majority of tracks in the UK have been around so long there isn't the infrastructure there to build upon to diversify. The stark difference in the infrastructure at Leicester to Belle Vue who were only built 4/5 years apart is more than evident

Yes I said used to be, so many clubs could do with other income wether this is from other sports, football , Dirt track, or even festivals.

Yeah I would agree 5+2 riding at number 3 in his first meeting is a decent effort!
