There are several stages to the AGM. For the first part, only the clubs who took part in the current season are involved. They go over the finances of the current season, iron out if anyone owes money to any other club, and declare if they want to run the following year. Presumably everyone except Birmingham has declared an intention to run. Then for the second part of the AGM (delayed to Jan 6th) they consider any new applications to join the league for next year, and anyone accepted is invited to join in the remaining meetings where they make plans for next year. -

There were two offers, but it's not been announced if one of them has been accepted or both have been rejected. CL flies back from Oz on Jan 7, the day after the AGM starts, so it's fair to say he won't be attending that. It's unclear if an announcement will be made before the AGM or just after. Anything else is just guesswork, as even those close to him are being kept in the dark,,, -
Why is it? I dont spent my life on here unlike you . I said my bit on what I think of you and your pal Shovlar. Pair of wronguns.

So there can't be a 6th team then as they've missed the declaration?

One thing I am not clear about here. There seems to be a feeling that CL has received two offers but neither are as much as he wanted. Ok, fine, so he doesn't undersell. What then? Instead of making some money out of a sale, he makes nothing at all. Is that where we are at the moment, or am I missing something?

Can you explain to me how having a loss making speedway club is good for tax purposes? Surely you would still make less net profit than if you didn't have the loss making speedway club?
