Didn't the main track man walk away a couple of years ago and since then the track has been iffy to say the least 

He was not using the right lines though, always trying to turn too hard to cut underneath - a Harris style outside pass would've worked a dream. Passing to me is not the be all and end all - if that's what it's all about then just make the best riders at that particular track start from a handicap.  I agree with your earlier post that it's about the race, which isn't just overtaking and some riders can handle inconsistent or grippy/slick tracks better than others, that's what makes it unpredictable.

Like Bitza has said soon as they changed it to the KOC meeting it becomes a rearranged fixture had it been the League fixture as originally planned, Lawson would have been at Poole that night
