Normally I'd agree it's daft guesting when it can hurt your team, but in this instance one of their play-off rivals will drop points. If Lawson helps Sheffield win, that's Lynn out of the play-off hunt, while even if Edwards helps Lynn to a home win, they're still a long way from finishing ahead of Ipswich. If I was a Witches fan I'd rather Sheffield won, so wouldn't mind Lawson guesting, but less keen on Edwards racing for Lynn.

I dragged an Aussie mate to Workington for his first ever speedway match last year. He had such a good chat with fellow countryman  Jacob Hook afterwards that now Hook is in business again he wants to get to this fixture!

It does show the state of UK speedway though that due to the complete lack of riders in the UK a fella who 10-20 years ago would have been axed sharpish is pretty much bullet proof and theres another 8-10 like him sadly.
