Think there are two reasons they don’t change it. They don’t own the stadium and that they don’t want to relinquish the home track advantage. The track needs to change to make the product better.  The problem would be is that the Edinburgh fans (mostly) will only show up for a winning/successful team. 

That isn’t a bad thing either IMO. Ties in with Richard Coleman’s comments that he wants a bigger gap between the Premiership and Championship, and this rule would naturally help that along.

If Northampton race next season (no reason why they won't), I think they should be allocated the British Final. Becoming pretty stale at BV and a new venue, next year at least, is required. Promote it big time with a Wednesday or Saturday meeting and I think it could be a big success.
