No because not only are the business models are completely different but so is the relationship to the community. You also have to factor in that whenever a football club is put up for sale it will always sell as it’s a investment. Sheffield have proven that no one will make an offer for a speedway club, Louis has had no offers. What is he supposed to do run it until his dying day? -
Correct i spoke to Drew on what should have been the day of the AGM. He did say due to the logistics of riding abroad he would more than likely not be riding in Championship this season.
-
Believe Drew doesn't want a Saturday track due to his commitments in Europe otherwise he would have been a good signing for the Comets. I wouldn't be surprised if he is yet to be announced in a Championship line up though.

If you can call it watered down then that is due to Ipswich's Emil and Jason ditching the UK again. The repetitive part of the season only kicks in for the last four home meetings as that’s when teams visit for a third time. Whilst it’s not ideal we can only hope things are being set in motion for 2027. The reset to one big league would have been a disaster and will have hurried along the demise of the sport in the UK being an NDL+ standard.

Won't be if the figures I'm told are correct. Well above 100k.
