Hope he doesn’t retire if he not 100% sure about it because I know this will sound alien if you have never been a racer but injuries or not that itch is a bitch and will always be there when you don’t retire on your own terms -
The signing on fees and the covering of other costs that clubs don’t pay or contribute partly towards are also a big plus. If everyone believes riders choose to travel half the length of UK cause of the track and cause they get paid every Tuesday then you’ll believe anything. It’s all the other bits I’ve listed above that make it worth it. If you know riders who have rode under the new regime well enough and promotors of other clubs who have lost out on riders due to this, who are happy to discuss it feel free to ask them.

Really? So the extensive physiotherapy treatment was just undertaken to cover up the fact that he couldn't be bothered to go to Leicester?

Absolutely. Frustration on Saturday, was just one of those things unfortunately.
