Great news to see both planning applications being rejected this morning. Back to square one for the developers. They 2 parties involved in the application have had a major fallout over the viability of the land sale price and S106. One refused to sign it and 3 deadlines passed. The Showground lives on!

Whatever Stewart wants basically. He builds great teams -
Jonatan Grahn would be the first name on my team sheet, rides workington exceptionally well and is worth a lot more than his starting average. Definitely can't be going into this season with batch at number 1. I would keep hook and vuolas from this year's team...

I'm sure everyone enjoyed watching Nagel when he was actually here (I certainly did). Just as I'm sure that no one particularly enjoyed watching Hook, Lambert, MPT, or Thomsen scoring hee haw between them in his absence. The difference between having and not having Nagel was huge (ignore the play off semi when he clearly wasn't fit). Too big. I'm confused by your argument about how few fixture clashes there were when we signed him, cause there were plenty when it actually came to racing. So saying we could avoid clashes next year doesn't make sense because we thought we had done that this year. His other fixtures will take priority over Tigers matches, and a rider as good, and as exciting, as Nagel will be in high demand in Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, U19, U21, U23 and the other international events that the big guns swerve like euro pairs etc. I would love to see him race regularly in the UK, and for the Tigers in particular but with so many commitments abroad, that take precedence over Tigers matches, I cannot see Glasgow resigning him. It's a pity cause he is exciting to watch, he would up his average and he is a future superstar but I would not sign him unless he cuts down on other commitments (although I suspect that the UK is most likely where he will cut back). If he does come back then I'll look forward to watching him race, but in reality I can't see it happening.
