Why shouldn't a Poole fan be able to ask about the weather in Workington?- it's an open forum! Been bone dry all day in Workington - warm with sunny periods. Perfect compared to most parts of the country especially for football - or speedway. Nearly a 1000 fans turned up at Derwent Fibrus Park for the Workington Reds game. So if the speedway had been on I would imagine the crowd would definitely be on the low side.

The racing is always decent at Scunny irrespective of the scoreline

I fully agree, but that's what speedway does these days, they no longer care about supporters that may want to travel to see their team. Total madeness.
