It wasn't just his Polish club, he said himself it was he himself that didn't want to return to UK tracks as they'd hamper his recovery from injury, only returning when he felt 100%. Us British fans need to understand, with the 💰💰 Poland pay, we're 2nd fiddle & we should just accept the situation as it is (for now). Things always goes in cycles, maybe in 10-20yrs one of the UK, Sweden, Denmark could be the place to be & makes the demands on Poland. While we are were we are, we just have to bow down to the necessary if we want to continue with riders of a higher standard. 

I think the club house has been demolished but the outline of a track is still there, the land is owned by Google I think... or was For a company with a net worth of $3tn and a company motto of "Do the right thing" for them to not build a community sports facility that would probably satisfy 99% of the complaints seems a bit penny pinching doesn't it 🤷‍♂️

Not strictly Poole related, but glad to see Ben Cook still in British speedway with him back at Kingslynn next year.    If Poole were to ever move back up would certainly hope he’d be one of the first names on the team sheet 

Ye olde pit gate , A per pro my earlier tongue in cheek guess, Google earth as of March 2025 shows the shale oval and the tarmac outer stock car track still visible. The first bend building has been demolished as have all the bus shelters on the back straight.  … the steelwork of the home straight shed remains minus its roof.   Never had a fence back when it first opened back in the day ….just some sticks to mark the track perimeter . Do I honestly think it’s a contender …. NO….the landowners want to build 600 houses on it at 500k  a pop …. Not rent out a speedway track at what £2k a week for 2O weeks a year.
