The issue sits massively with what is defined as fit for purpose? Personally i want to be entertained so two teams with riders of close abilities on a track that offers passing opportunities and im happy. That used to exist at NL level and was sub £15. Watching the worlds best can be mesmerising but unless they have someone to race it can be dull as dishwater and the gulf between the top and bottom riders in teams is getting too vast. Top 100 in the world is a bit of a stretch when there is probably only a few thousand active riders of all ages worldwide anyways. For £30 you would need top level facilities (how many females don't attend simply because the state of the toilets) and an afternoon/evening of entertainment with passing, track craft, even a bit of controversy. The home hero, the pantomime villain, the stuff that gets people talking on the way home and wanting to see what happens in the next fixture. I certainly can't remember the last time i felt like that hence why i am one of the many who used to attend a lot of fixtures at various tracks and now barely go at all. -
If we have to have a 6 team top league then surely the play offs need to be scrapped.

Fancy us to win by maybe 10….. Kurtz seems an improved rider from the beginning of the season and don’t expect to see the rider that ride at Foxhall in the cup when he was shocking …. Bewley can throw in good or bad rides …. Lidsey is average at Foxhall though he is in form … Cook is usually inconsistent I think this will be close as Jenkins usually good for 5 at home and I think Foord will struggle to score which is a 10 point swing there

This is purely speculation but one assumes that the 2 points were deducted because perhaps that meeting that was conducted shouldn't have gone ahead because rider visa's were not valid at that time? I'm not keeping up to date with this in great detail, but it was the first thing that came to mind. Either way, it's great news they are back. We can't afford to lose any more tracks and fair play to the Facennas for stepping in. We owe a massive gratitude to them. -
So a new company has been formed yesterday https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/16571367 With a single Director https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/16571367/officers I just hope that when the old company went to the wall on the 17th June https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/04261535 no small local business were owed money that they walked away from.

The people I know are. Glasgow are a respected and well run club in the eyes of not just Worky fans but Speedway fans in general. 👍
