Just as caveat to folk heaping praise on Rushen i've seen a few comments in the past saying he's a bit of a throttle jockey and that might be why he did so well last night at Belle Vue, as to his 2 points at Armadale the night before. Does anyone think being good on smaller, technical tracks matters these days and if not being so will hinder him ? As.....personally i think Will Cairns is actually.....well a better all round rider..... Rushen was great last night don't get me wrong it was like watching Joe Screen back in 88/89.....but just wanted to know your opinions

From my perspective. If it wasn't on somewhere i could access easily and free i probably wouldn't of taken the time to do so. So the fact it was on ITVX and all i had to suffer was a some ad breaks made me tune in and watch all of it, and i'd hazard a guess i wasn't alone in doing do. As for the racing, i think we all know Belle Vue has thrown up better racing in the past, but if any folk who had never seen or been to speedway match were there or watched it live i still think they would've enjoyed it, but sadly i think that number will be pretty small. I think the best promotion the sport can get is from us as fans just bringing it up in conversation if the chance arises with our friends and people we know, I've taken a few of my friends along to Glasgow and they loved it, a few came to the odd meeting over the following years but obvs have never ended up being weekly attendees or became massive fans of the sport, and to me that's fine. I just think if we all just let people know we go to Speedway and they have someone they know to go with it might surprise you how many of your friends and social circle would jump at the chance to go.

Hypothetical i know.......but if Kyle was in Heat 10 when Sedgmen scored his only points it would've been a 5-1 to Glasgow. Just out of curiosity what were the other choice of guests we could've of had ? R/R would've been better, but it's a diddy competition which I'm happy for The Monarchs to win. 🤪

What were the 'other projectiles' ? I'm not doubting it happened i'm just curious as to what else the fans in the main stand would have thrown....Might have been coins i guess, but i've generally got nothing else on me other than my car/house keys, program board and a pen

Had a listen to the most recent one and one of the sound issues i think comes from Derek not wearing headphones. I might be wrong but if he's hearing the sound when he's chatting to someone else through speakers or a phone it get's picked up by his microphone and that's what is giving that echoed effect, you can hear it when he's chatting to Ian on part 1 of the recent podcast.

From this years team I'd have Harris, Flint, Nagel & Hodder back, the latter who is at least from what i have seen miles more a better rider than Perry. I'd personally break the bank to get Cooper Rushen & I think Tate Zischke would be good too on his average.

I'm pretty much gonna say the same. Congrats to Poole and Lewis Kerr was your matchwinner. I would also have put Flint out in the Super Heat, buts that hindsight for you. Last night was my first at Ashfield in a few years and it reminded me why i love he sport. Gutted we lost but i came away just happy that I'd seen an awesome meeting.

The guests we've had for Nagel have been...from memory all absolutely shocking. I'm sure if you add up all the points they have scored over how many matches it's been he would've scored more in 1 match. I hope if it comes down to a Poole v Glasgow final for the league i hope he's available for both legs.....as obvs i'd love the Poole fans to see him in action 😉

I think your misinterpreting what Cami has said......Nobody, not even the Edinburgh promoters would have predicted Victor would be scoring 19/20 points a meeting and beating heat leaders. It was a shrewd signing and all credit to them. But surely you can see that a reserve rarely scores double figures and beats the opposing heat leaders. The Tarasenko comparison isn't quite the same though, still a shrewd signing which obvs helped us win the league but he wasn't at reserve...... What i'd like to know is why didn't Glasgow sign Victor ? Just imagine if they had done so instead of signing Brougen....

I'd like us all to just try and remember what age he is and not be too hard on him. If you've played sport at any level you'll know that what's going on in your head can massively effect your performance. Usually talented teens just rise through the ranks maybe with a few bumps but i can't remember seeing someone with so much promise suddenly fall off like Ashton has. I genuinely wish him all the best and hope he gets back to his best.

Just looking down the field and the fact it was at Ashfield Dan Thompson would have won this easily if he hadn't crashed. Ashton Boughen though ...i think we all forget what age he is, so i do feel kinda bad being critical about him but surely i'm not alone thinking that at the very least he would've....won a race, outscored Max or Freddy. I just so perplexed by him.
