  1. Probably as expected. The Witches even not on full form can still push the weakest team in the play offs to a last heat decider. The Aces bottom 4 have been awful for most of the season. The reserves could have been changed before Tates average dropped to give them at least a better chance. Lemons faith in the reserves has cost them big time. The witches still have to do the job on Thursday and of course anything can happpen and the Aces have been able to step up under pressure in past play offs. Given that some Aces fans have already given up after tonight 🙄 I suppose they will be telling us to write us off at your peril if they pull it back. Lets face it it will be a huge shock if they do progress.
  2. I reckon it’s a blinder played the Witches, a nothing match for them and let’s make the others believe they are vulnerable at home before smashing teams in the semis and final. Well they should be with this team. Anything less will be a failure this season. THE strongest team all season and built very cleverly there is no better chance of winning the league. It’s the play offs so anything can happen obviously. The Aces look the weakest of the 4 but they have good pedigree in the more recent play offs so I guess they shouldn’t be written off at anyone’s peril. Can’t see them doing it tho this year.
  3. Musielak, Zagar and Rew all over 6 for new averages. Jepsen Jensen was also. Although the relevance of the question I’m not sure is what? Lawson IS a 6 point rider, check his average for September.
  4. It’s weird that Oxford have only won against Birmingham yet Birmingham have beaten other teams! Not many tho. 😉
  5. In the UK I’d agree. Not at international level, just bang average. Certainly riding for Leicester has helped him progress in the UK.
  6. I’ve no idea as could only see a small section of inside the stadium from the fence outside the car park. I’ve no idea what the capacity is but I’m someone said 1500. I’m assuming then that numbers were being accurately monitored via bookings and sales to know that capacity was reached? Friends inside said that there was room to move about. obviously it explains a little more why people were turned away. I just hope ticket sales confirmed the capacity limit because it’s one last chance for Tolley and Co to make maximum amount of return which he absolutely deserves.
  7. Attending when I can due to work commitments on a Monday. At least I still follow and support the sport unlike the many who just gave up on the sport/club.
  8. Not the first reliable rider riding for Kings Lynn to do it tho.
  9. A loose sold out announcement was an even bigger catastrophe. Not being able to say goodbye to my local club I won’t forget for those responsible.
  10. Just threaten to close down and they will flock to the last meeting. Birmingham tonight was ‘sold out’ (except it wasn’t according to fans inside the stadium) and people were turned away. I know, I was one of them. Wolves last ever match I’ve never seen a crowd like it as well. it seems the only thing that works.
  11. Although of course Kings Lynn have form for riders picking riding for them as well. It absolutely is correct. I volunteered for 6 seasons there. Apparently that counts for nothing. Quite a few were locked out with entry refused because it was ‘sold out’. My neighbour came over after the match to say there was room. more incompetency from the club. If only speedway had that problem of actually having full crowds. Buts that’s rarely been the case for any league meeting in many a year. Apparently fans came from all over the UK to visit and no doubt lots of lost fans or last chance viewers came to give it the send off it deserved.
  12. In fairness to TM he has always been great value and dedicated to British Speedway. And usually a very reliable heat leader.
  13. As expected RR for Ellis is way below what he would usually score. They need him back for September.
