  1. Good for you Kevin. But I don’t think I know you. I have been home and away for the last 40 years. Surprised we haven’t crossed paths. But like I said, last season I have had health issues which have restricted my travels. Next season I will hopefully get away a bit more.
  2. Yes. Since 1985. Home and away. Though I missed a few last season through health issues. Yourself? I ardently support the Pirates but I am not blinkered and if I don’t like something I will say it.
  3. Good rider and late developing but in the twilight of his career.
  4. Riding against a strong Poole once or twice a year at Wimborne Road is a world away from riding for Poole at Wimborne Road every week. I took serious note of Dan Gilkes when he was riding for Sittingbourne a few years ago. Thought he was stylish and impressive. His career has never developed as it should have through injury or riding for a poor team. Last season at Poole he had what looked like an innocuous fall on the 4th bend which looked nothing but ended with his season curtailed. He has been working on his fitness and is back to where he wants to be. I am confident he will do a very good job for us once he has learnt the setups and quickest way around Wimborne Road. Previous scores are pretty irrelevant.
  5. Maybe if he or his crew serviced/looked after his engines they wouldn’t have had so many EF’s which cost him and the team victories. And his performance at Poole in the BSN final was diabolical and cost Poole a trophy.
  6. A decent 1-7 should be battling for all trophies again. Kerr needs to prove to himself that he can show better form than last season.
  7. May as well give the title to Glasgow right now. Even Cami knickers can’t mess this up. Question is, will they manage the treble? Clear favourites by the proverbial mile. Hearing the Faccenas have ordered a large pot of Brasso.
  8. Saw enough of him last season to know he isn’t the answer. Disappointed he is coming back.
  9. Unjustified? Fully deserved! He was absolutely awful for a big chunk of the season. Not sure he will improve on that. I wouldn’t have had him back, but I am not the promoter.
  10. So many Glasgow fans on the Poole thread. Are they worried about the team Matt and Danny are putting together? Our lineup is looking good if a tad inexperienced. The two other heat leaders need to have that experience to back up Lawson and give advice to at least two riders who are new to the league. Going to be a fun 2026.
  11. Anyone know where it was filmed and who the riders were
  12. Adam Ellis? Reserve in the PL. Heat leader in the Championship. Nick Morris? what would Chris Holders average be? Would be a hugely popular signing though probably too high. Rew? Blodorn? Becker? Just pulling names.
  13. No way Matt would have Kerr and Starke back. And Bowes is not a name I would consider as very forward thinking. If we do go with Bailey, Rushen and Cairns we need experience above them to cover for when they are struggling. Otherwise we will have a long wagging tail. Would Scott Nicholls be a candidate for the second heat leader or is pushing 50 the new pushing 30? Scott is still a force to be reckoned with in the Championship. Very professional and his career form has only dropped a bit. Personally no. Rather have young up and coming or a rider still in their prime. Jeppersen? Though Wednesdays could be an issue.
