  1. Personally think it's a brilliant decision to up the limit so max can get a team . Let's be honest none of the leagues teams would have built any different to what they did any way so it can't be a bad thing.

  2. Agree that Poland appears to do things better which is why we have so many issues over here. Not too sure what all the fuss is about, so tracks 20 plus years ago supplied the fuel? and Poland still do it seems, times have changed and so has health & safety. As long as SOMEONE supplies the fuel, then crack on.

  3. It’s a development league. A 16 year old kid going to miss out cause of 0.05 of an average. Common sense for once has actually been used.

  4. One other point in yesterday’s press release is that apart from Warsaw and Cardiff( held the day before) practice/qualifying on the afternoon of the GP now will start and finish 2 hours later than before- this i believe will cause major problems for the track maintenance teams in having to prepare a raceable track in 3 hours after an hours pounding in practice. I can see far more ruts appearing during the meetings than previously.

  5. And people wonder why the sport is seen as a joke!

  6. I raced for Graham at long Eaton, found him very straight to the point and hard to get on with , bumped into him at various different tracks over the years but it wasn’t until I was a mechanic at Birmingham and he was promotor that I really understood him, we had many chats about the state of the sport, he was always backing up my views privately that I was spouting on social media at the time although kept telling me not to swear on them, telling me to keep at them, I asked him if he shared these views why he never spoke out ? He said “the sport had been good to him and he didn’t want to appear ungrateful “speedway needs a Graham Drury now, thoughts with Denise and the family at this sad time.RIP Graham

  8. I didn't realise this until you posted, but even worse than i thought. Nothing revolutionary, as they try to state. 4 riders on track at the same time doing a sprint over 4 laps. Which if i am correct, and my memory not failing me, as it has been a few years since i attended a meeting now, is what used to be called in the old days a heat. The fastest rider wins, just like in the old heats..... Trying to make a silk purse out of a pigs ear here

  12. Add to that that they have watched Buster Chapman seemingly take one of their Premier clubs down without a fight while profiting from that club's demise, in terms of infrastructure and riders for his other lot. I make no comment on him & AEPG! Added to that, he's allowed to hang on to the licence with no interest in the Peterborough Speedway survival fight. He seems happy to run down the clock to finish Panthers and the BSPL appear happy that he does that as a member of their flock? It is indeed hard to take them seriously!

  13. Another Gimmick IMO.Not really required.

  14. Why haven't the BSPL taken the licence off Russell yet? Any serious association would have had the licence off him as soon as he joined Osbourne in making that statement about speedway not being viable at the Abbey & joining Swindon Mototorsport.
