  1. Justin Sedgman replaces Sonke. And the Brits have indeed swap places, so Woffinden is now in Miskolc and Bridger in Kumla.

  4. Well, actually it was first round of Slovenian-Croatian team championship, as it is officially called, but it doesn't really count as championship, at least not in Slovenia. It's just a team competition.
  5. Slovenia and Croatia met in a test match in Donji Kraljevec yesterday. Croatia put their best team on the track including Jurica Pavlic, while Slovenian team was mostly composed of junior riders and only Sandi Conda as a member of the senior team that qualified for the SWC in Peterborough. Meeting was run in a Polish league style format and was very interesting from heat 1 to heat 15. Croatia got to a 7 point lead after heat 7, but Slovenians fought back and two 5-1's from Duh and Voldrih in heats 10 and 14 put us back into the lead before the final heat. There we needed 3-3 but Kraljic couldn't pass Cvetko and Croatia won with 45-44. Complete results are posted here: http://www.speedway.si/index.php?option=co...0&Itemid=62
  6. Speedway.si and mediaspeed.net teams have filmed the Saturdays meeting in Ljubljana. Videos of a selection of 13 most interesting heats can be found here: http://www.speedway.si/index.php?option=co...5&Itemid=62
  7. More news regarding this meeting. I've found yesterday that only the Sax Super Cup meeting was cancelled, but the Golden Sign meeting will go ahead on June 6th! The lineup will not be as good as that of Sax Super Cup, here are some of the names announced so far: Maksims Bogdanovs Andriy Karpov Denis Sajfutdinov Daniel Pytel Maneul Hauzinger Dino Kovacic Jozsef Tabaka Izak Santej Matija Duh Sandi Conda
  8. Live updates from this meeting will be available here: http://www.speedway.si/index.php?option=co...&Itemid=152
  9. Is there any interest for live updates from this meeting in Ljubljana? We will all be very busy with the organisational stuff, but if enough interest is shown, we will try to do the live updates.
  10. Received today from DMSB: The rider Tobias Kroner has cancelled his participation surprisingly. So the Team Germany will be: #7 Martin Smolinski #8 Thomas Stange
  11. Finland 1. Jari Makinen 2. Joni Keskinen Croatia 3. Renato Cvetko 4. Marko Vlah Slovenia 5. Matej Zagar 6. Maks Gregoric 17. Izak Santej Germany 7. Martin Smolinski 8. Tommy Stange Ukraine 9. Andriy Karpov 10. Oleksandr Borodaj Austria 11. Manuel Novotny 12. Friedrich Wallner 20. Lukas Simon Italy 13. Mattia Carpanese 14. Guglielmo Franchetti 21. Mattia Tadiello
  12. Bad news for you Jools. The Golden Sign and Sax Super Cup meeting has now been cancelled. The main reason is financial crisis which reduced the budget for this meeting for more than 70% and forced the organizers to cancel the meeting.
  13. Some photos from Krsko: http://www.fotokljucaric.net/gallery.php?f=Krsko16.5.2009
  14. Thanks to everyone who followed the live updates. It was nice to meet BobC and have a chat with him. Bob, thanks for the photos of Brendan!

We'll try to post comments on every heat and also about all the other important things. If you have any additional questions or ideas how to improve live updates from Krsko, please post them here and we'll try to fulfill your wishes. Speedway.si team
  17. Slovenian sport channel Sportklub http://si.sportklub.tv/ broadcasts SGP live this year, so try to find a place (in a hotel or somewhere) with Sportklub channel. If you want a real speedway atmosphere, I recommend "Okrepčevalnica Grand Prix", speedway bar in Drnovo near Krsko, where a lot of speedway fans gather to watch live speedway. The address: Drnovo 69 8273 Leskovec pri Krškem GPS: 45°57'37.75" 15°28'41.3" And about Golden sign meeting: this year this meeting will be merged with Sax Super Cup and will feature many of the world top riders. In 2007 and 2008 riders like Crump, Hancock, Jonsson, B. Pedersen and others took part in this meeting. This year's lineup is yet to be announced but I'm sure we will again see a quality field.
  18. You mean something like this: http://www.speedway.si/index.php?option=co...0&Itemid=62 ? Yes, we will do that, of course. When it's about meetings in Slovenia, we usually write comments only in English as most of the Slovenian fans are at the meeting anyway.
  19. Speedway.si team is planning to do live updates from this meeting. I'll let you know if we do a day or two before the meeting. In any case, check http://www.speedway.si

  22. Hello. It will be possible to buy tickets on Eventim website, at least it was last year. But I think it's a little early for this, please wait some more time and the GP event will surely appear on their website.
  23. Thanks mate. Well, I hope to see you in Peterborough. Make sure you will also cheer for my boys.
