Thompson spent a lot of last season at reserve though.Poole lost the 2 riders that really were the main reason they won everything Ben Cook and Brennan.Very difficult too replace .

Agree,it would have been different if any of the riders were distracted by the Start Marshal and pulled up,but they didn’t.

He’s had a great career but age against him getting back to anything near his recent best .IMO Just my opinion not really a criticism.

I do think it was good thinking regarding Tigers line up.While the guests didn’t produce lot on the night ,they knew Harris and Howarth were going to have at least 6 rides each which would always keep them in contention with their liking for Shielfield.Deserved their win.

That’s the Gp’s only that have changed I believe.

That is correct.There were only 4 Tigers there though. Leon had poor score admittedly last time ,Harris got 9 last time.Howarth 11. Sat. was 14 each.

I’m not discussing his body image.I’m sure he is “as fit as a flea” I was commenting on his height and build ,that is no way body shaming.You as speedway supporter have obviously heard the discussion with Woffy and Doyle regarding natural size and build of riders that they consider that might a disadvantage these day given the Technical Advances in the sport. The actual track prep has always been a bit hit of miss whatever excuse they want to use.IMO The riders just have to get on with it. Tough on home riders set up wise though.

Don’t think Berwick will make play -offs anyway.Probably not worth changing if that was a reason.

Don’t think it is much of a risk if replacing Smith.Still has age on his side compared to Smith who has certainly reached his level.

Having Jonus at 2 paid off though,countered Villads very well at Ashfield.Hagon was woeful.Wouldn’t matter where you put Hagon in Top 5 IMO,you don’t know what he will do from race to race even at Shielfield.Glasgow were there for the taking tonight and we failed miserably.IMO

And they are not exactly a powerful reserve pairing.
