  1. Possibly! At least they are refunding the Cash paying supporters who don’t want rain off tickets to their credit.
  2. You won’t get many long term die-hard supporters who think that meeting was called off purely because of track conditions. But hey -ho that’s speedway. Live streaming will eventually kill the sport regarding spectator attendance.I for one have had enough of this spot of rain and the riders are out on track calling for the Ref. I won’t make the effort to watch it live. British Weather and speedway riders not compatible nowadays.Funny they ride in every other Country in wet conditions though.
  3. I can see the BSPA voting 10 Heat matches at this rate and extending the season to December just in case the weather forecast are wrong.
  4. Jack is the worlds best novice though,in his mind anyway.
  5. Your question has been answered.Riders running the show as usual.GB speedway is in the mire.IMO.
  6. Don’t tell me you believe in weather forecasts ask Shovler about them even he gets them wrong.!
  7. What about Complin,Morley, Smith and Crang then.
  8. Let’s face it not many Glasgow fans either. It was a”Political “ decision, with different motives though.
  9. They gave the track a light watering 1/2 hour before start,it was dry as bone after Ht1.It was not heavy rain but the track was that slick the riders wanted it roughed up on the inside line. The track looked good .But there was definitely “politics “ involved in the decision from “BOTH” teams.Fans made to suffer again, certainly not encouraging for any new fans to come back. PS There wasn’t any surface water on the track.
  10. The track after grading look fine not to much dirt and they rough up the inside line,I’m afraid the riders are just getting away with too much these days. The juniors could have got round on that track tonight IMO( I know I don’t ride the bike) but I’ve seen a few speedway meetings. The decision was based on whether the meeting was going to go the full distance without giving it a fair chance to see.Basso would have probably broke the track record if he gated.
  11. Your probably right on that one,but the whole thing stinks.Starke dived for the outside and just slid off could happen on any track.Glasgow probably sensed that the meeting might not go the full distance if the rain came on again.Nicol probably had his bike in the van.
  12. Riders rule these days, fans are just getting fed up as taken for mugs.At least the Promotion are giving fans there money back if they don’t want a rain off ticket.I certainly won’t be going back if there is a cloud in the sky.If speedway can’t go ahead on a track in that condition it’s not going to survive much longer in this country.
  13. There were a few Glasgow fans disillusioned with that decision and certain riders, track was hardly unridable and only 1Team wanted it off for whatever reason and it wasn’t Poole.
