We’re the fans at Leicester not being cheated though,by lack of effort from certain riders,they should have withdrawn but were obviously scared of being banned from riding.BSPA need do do better regarding non payments.

Years of watering down the averages ,have create previously mediocre riders becoming much sought after and being overpaid for their services.They are happy to stay in their comfort zone earning decent money ,unfortunately raising admission prices for a second rate product( compared to the past)was not the answer.Fans have drifted away ,and the sport does not have the credibility to attract new young fans in any great numbers( and keep them).

There lies the problem that blights the sport,the Promoters that run the sport and set pay rates pay over the odds causing a lot of the trouble at other Clubs.The chickens are coming home to roost for the overpaid riders.

I agree regarding Clubs signing who they want if they can afford,for the same reasons your said. As an example Berwick had a decent crowd on Sat to some extent it was because Crump and Pedersen were in town.IMO.

You must be joking.! Blind they have had white sticks for years.You cannot seriously think your crowds are going to double because of COVID.Knowing the BSPA they probably did.!!

That could possibly be true if that happens.BUT!

It’s top 6 for Play Offs,they will be in them,whether they are in the top 2 remains to be seen.

There is an obvious reason for that scenario.When will it be addressed is the real question.

Soon we will need to test if the riders wouldn’t make it pay.Minimal doubling up has to be introduced to make the sport Credible as a Team Sport.

agree 100%,ruining the sport to give Harris & Co a decent living because they whinge they can’t make it pay with 1 league.Just call their bluff,it won’t do the sport any harm.
