Promotions really need to take a look at the way they run their business,the fans are just treated with contempt in these situations,it's getting to the stage even on a good day weather wise you can't be confident your going to get a meeting and there is a possibility you might not get 15heats these days.Its not good enough.Happens far to often in recent seasons.

I just don't get all this negativity about the Star ,it does what "it says on the the tin" reports on meetings,statistics and interesting articles.Why should it have to controversial and hard hitting.Mr Rising gives you his thoughts on this forum and people still want to slag him off be because he has Star connections ,he would be in a no win situation whatever he done.

Though it was 50/50 on the KK incident,but Nicki deserved 3rd overall thought Greg gave Tai the win he needed in his last race spent the whole race looking for him.

I think they are odds -on for the treble.Very slick show tonight 30 heats 2 3/4 hrs including 20 minute break,and Teams using R/R in both matches.

That was pathetic apart from the diamonds King and Neilsen who at least put some effort in.Why British Teams put up with foreigners like Dilger who season after season can't even ride to their assessed average beats me,Pl needs to introduce fast track for British juniors rather than these duff foreigners ,we might even unearth a rider or two. That's the one!! Racing on the Continent is in total contrast to a lot of British tracks most are fast and pacy and easy to ride.

it's sad that the fans who support the event all over Europe will not be able to attend the Finale unless they fork out a lot of cash.Shows that BSI don't give a sh*t about them as long as they get some money in.

I am a big fan of David and he is a talent but I think when he goes to these small tracks if he has a bad ride he tends to throw the towel in,IMO his priorities are not in British Speedway .He gets himself very wound up if he has a bad ride,I think he now realises that missing the gate at Berwick means bursting a gut for little reward 90% of the time and rides with his head and not his heart.Continental track suit his style down to the ground as do most big tracks in UK.He has a touch of class though .

After taking 6 rides against Monarchs on Sunday,doctor has signed him off injured just like other Pererborough riders,something fishy going on IMO

replacing Niki Barrett who has withdrawn from the meeting I believe.Summers for Lawson now been confirmed.The sport is a joke .

Wonder what the Monarchs weather Station are saying for to morrow,Rain between 16.00-20.00 on the site I use.Hopefully it changes and they get the fixture on.

Have to agree don't rate him, well out of his depth at Fast Track.He is only 16 though.Niki Lunna or the Italian Vincentin might be better bets to ride in Uk both looked decent at Golden Helmet.The talent on show at the junior Helmet meeting really shows the state of British Speedway regarding young talent.

I attended most of the Provincial League matches at Edinburgh from 1960-64,some great matches,Monarchs favourites were Dick Campbell,Wayne Briggs,George Hunter,the Templetons,Jimmy Cox and many more. Ian Hoskins was the ultimate showman and there was always added attractions.Great visiting riders were Tony Lewis Guy Allott Jack Scott Trevor Redmond Jack Kitchen Charlie Monk Ivan Mauger and Clive Featherby who was the" villain "in these days.great memories.
