IMO a strength in depth Team are weakened byR/R if the other Teams Heat leaders are up to scratch and with Bach in the Team after missing the previous match at Berwick he could made difference, remember it was Kus at reserve taking extra rides that saved Berwick on a couple of occasions when called on .Apart from Vissing our Heat Leaders are Inconsistent at Home IMO .Jacobs and Lambert could give Edberg trouble and Wethers is not in best shape with injury recently .Should be a good match though.

He has been rumoured the last few seasons but has never materialised.Probably to expensive.Im not a fan of him I'm afraid.
-
Still young and is talented hard to judge how good he will be.I hope he stays ,but I also have that gut feeling.
-
your theory is sound, but only if he wants to continue in British Speedway. Most of the Continental Tracks are big and racy and that is probably where he really wants to be IMO.
-
Unfortunately he will be tied-up with the GP 's on a Sat.
-
Only if we sign riders that can improve their average and keep him at reserve.

An "out and out" No1 is a rider that can win important races Home and Away like heats 13 & 15. Berwick did not have that rider in a lot of meetings especially away from home. Based on green sheet av.from start of season. Vissing. -0.20 Doolan. -0.40 Bellego. -0.30 Jensen. +0.64 Kus. +1.33 Wethers. -1.29 Edberg. 0.00. Did well to finish 4th IMO. .

Horton is just a wide-boy wouldn't trust him to run a raffle, why do they keep giving him clubs to run ,guaranteed failure.Peterborough is one of the finest racing tracks in the country.

Mr Rising needs to keep Bert Harkins of the "sherbets" before he does his column in the the Star, this week he states Peter Waite was helping exBandit Martin Smolinski in the pits, did Smolinski ever ride for Berwick ,IMO No.

Simon Stead 9.96 is hardly shabby.

Find it hard to believe where Edinburgh get there forecasts, never seen any that didn't suggest the wet weather was coming back in this evening(if it ever stopped in most of the Lothians).probably gambled with it being Newcastle and fairly local opposition. How many times this season have they said Definately On only to call off late on.

It's well known in the sport regarding Berwicks wages policy which is correct, the sad fact about the sport is that all the Promotions can't stick together pay a sensible points rate that they can all afford and be a viable Club. But that will never happen to much one-upmanship among Clubs run mainly by enthusiasts with money that soon diminishes once the wages bill lands on their lap.Set a pay rate if the riders don't want to play tell them where to go,it's better than being Champs at the end off the season and Bankrupt .The crowds I have seen around the country certainly are not paying for the running costs of the majority of Clubs.

These Czech riders being mentioned in this topic are all exciting talents but given their Continental commitments can't see them coming to Berwick for a weekend fixture and more important IMO the money on offer.

That's good enough for the fan club.
