  1. I thought he was rejected because a rider with an assessed average could not double up?
  2. you will have to explain that one a little better, what have we missed regarding this matter. Was the backhander to the BSPA not enough!!!!!!!
  3. I would agree with you 100%.well worded statement, but like I feel it is probably time put the matter to rest.
  4. Never recognised you it must be the beard Dick!!!!!!!!!
  5. I would agree with that. What I will say is if you watched Claus into the 3rd bend later in the meeting he was taking a much wider line and eliminating the dodgy patch by not having to lock up to cut back.the track was poor early on and was just starting to dry out when the meeting ended IMO.Young Liam was looking good and attacking the track .
  6. In your opinion, were are just pointing out some disadvantages of an early ending to a meeting, perhaps you and you friends should be looking into making sure the meetings run their full course.I am aware of the rule book in its present state.
  7. The Redcar. management would surely be taking this into account before they ran Ht 10 and must have agreed to run even if the time curfew had expired. Agree regarding calling off at Heat11,the away No1 has only had 2 rides but the home No 1 has had 3 riders.Definately favours Home team in that respect Was it aTag Heuer running slow?
  8. Personaly I was not thinking of Lawson making a statement
  9. GRT media cover Berwick and a couple of other Northern Tracks if it is the same Company.Contact details on Berwick Website.Excellent Video's
  10. Let's face it more happened off the track than on it.There is an answer that would put this post to bed,but as yet it has not been given.
  11. I believe the County Ambulances are at various locations in the County when not in use.In previous incidents sometimes the Ambulance can arrive promptly but we still have a lengthy due to paperwork ect.Being honest even as a diehard supporter I am getting fed up with all the delays if there is a crash ,after all there is a big probability there will be one given the nature of the sport. The situation definately has to be looked into at most Tracks in the Country.
  12. Reading the match report on the Bandits website it looks like there will be no further news on the proceedings as it has been quoted as "one of these nights"and that goodness for Dr Fortune for coming to the rescue. So don't hold your breath on a Management Statement ,it would be nice to know if the riders and the Paramedic are on the mend though.
  13. Good man,I'll try and catch the postman in the morning
  14. your all mixed up it has nothing to do with Dr Fortune he come from home to act as the track doctor after the Paramedic took "ill" is howI understand it.PS The lawyers letter is in the Post
  15. I suppose it depends on your watch was it a Timex from Taffy's or aTag Heuer!!! Whatever time it was the paying public were short changed again which is happening too much in the Sport these days.Anything to get a result declared seems to be priority
  16. There are just far to many incidents in meetings nowadays that lead to fans standing about getting fed up.Medical cover is expensive but has to be improved. The powers at be are not doing anything in the sport that would attempt reduce accidents ,you could say that track conditions caused Wethers accident last night as a lot of riders were struggling on the exit to the 4th bend and Liam just pulled a slight locker and Matty clipped him.People are fed up be told the paramedics are tending to the riders (we know that).better arrangements have to be put in place to compensate for these situations should they arise. What happened to the Medical room that was going to help these situations at Berwick I have never seen it in use.In the case last night to bring in a Doctor from outside is admiral but standing on the terrace waiting for him at 9.10 with 6 heats having been run you knew that the meeting would never get 15hts in due to the curfew let alone there being another delay, perhaps Berwick should seek council permission to extend curfew when this happens as an emergency cover. At the end of the day the fans were short changed again only seeing 10 heats.
  17. They will probably wait to see if Harris does get in the meeting proper as he is having a good season in EL and thinks he is still going to get a lot better once he finds his gating touch!!!!!!!!!!! he have been unlucky in the GP as the riders are just going to fast at the moment.
  18. Its not about paying fines, the council will take a dim view if rules were contravened without permission.I assume Berwick had permission regarding the qualifier as a 1 off event.
  19. though the track was poor tonight,no doubt the weather will get the blame.
