This system to me seems flawed regarding British riders ,we will have some young talent riding in 3 league but some Pl reserves/2nd strings will find themselves on the dole due to averages.
Jon Cook says EL fans will delighted that they have dropped these extra fixture of choosing who you race against yet Pl introduce it.You could not make it up!!!!!!!
Can't believe the Pl Teams are going to race each other home and away THEN pick 3 Teams they want to race against as extra fixtures, will the extra fixture count towards aTopSix place for Play -offs if it does the it's farcical.I'm I reading the article in SS wrong.
Name a young rider who Edinburgh have
nurtured into a good rider in the last 5 Seasons barring Fricke who is the real deal before he even come to Britain.
It won't be at Berwick.
Were too late now for different tack .disappointed with Promoters Meeting nothing new regarding PL .IMO it needed freshened up and changes regarding guests,r/r options. But what's new everything hunky dory with them.
Who has said no1 and a 7.5 average is not that bad when you look at last seasons Team. I agree but finding the riders that want to come to Britain these days isn't as easy as previous years in Peters era.
Imo Alden's biggest problem is his temperament ,he has let us down at times but IMO he is good enough in this league and he is an asset ,not sure he will be back though ,if not we should sell him.not many can beat him round Shielfield when he is in the mood
Of last years squad I would only have Bellego Kozza and Alden back, though I think there is a fair chance that only one of them will be in the line up.Some fresh faces are needed though and Covetti would be a good shout IMO.
From what I can gather Marcin was getting enough money on a retainer in Poland as to not bother about Britain+the licence issues if he was to ride in Uk.
Until we see a statement on what riders are available for the reserve spots and the rules regarding the replacement criteria if injuries occur it is difficult to make sense of it all.It might be the way forward you never know.Certainly glad I support a PLteam though.
