  1. Ithink the rain -off on Thursday caused the problem for Procter because the rules state you cannot use R/r for a rider who has not ridden for the club ,which was the case with Procter. Why they got R/r for Roynon after sacking him is the mysteryIMO
  2. That might come back to bite you on the ar*e.Dont think this tie is dead we should have finished them off last night but we let them off the hook in a couple of races.Stead was the only real threat.
  3. Fair play to Liam had a great couple of rides, but the Team manager done the correct thing by replacing him in his last ride IMO.It is the KO Cup and every point counts and Jensen was having a great meeting and the managers change paid off.I admit I would have criticised him had he not made the change.
  4. The sport as aTeam sport is in melt down , but who really cares now,you couldn't make up what happens regarding Speedway rules.
  5. Read the rule book, clearly states you can't use r/r for a rider who has not ridden for the club.Thursdays cancellation probably makes this rule valid.Like you sat only in Speedway.
  6. Think that will be the reason.Roynon will now be deemed to be withholding services.Farcical!!!!!!!!
  7. negotiate a more suitable date when the fixtures came out, other clubs seem to be able to do it.
  8. That's the point ,they knew the dates he would be missing.
  9. I think the Promotion were naive to arrange a KO Cup fixture with a key home rider missing.A league match Ok but you only get one chance in the cup.
  10. I agree, there should be no facility as the club know the situation before signing these riders ,the sport is just a joke and a laughing stock.PL is now being sucked into all these stupid rules. Because they feel like it THIS WEEK.
  11. That is what most people would interpretate the rule..Riders making a late decision coming back from injury always seem to be able to ride under this rule IMO.Typical speedway decision the sport just keeps shooting itself in the foot with its rule book .What makes it more ludicrous is that Somerset were allowed a guest up to Nicks average so on paper it should have made no difference to the Teams.I am quite sure the fans would be able to write in the programme change
  12. Your right,he is a member of the the Team and if he is available should be able to take his place. We have riders coming to meetings from abroad who MIGHT not make it but are declared in case they do.Cheating the paying public IMO
  13. it was not a criticism just an observation thought Shielfield might not be his favourite track due to the speed you need,he was certainly in the mix on small tracke last season.
  14. Wasn't. Expecting too much from Liam ,but thought he would be more on the pace than he is showing, puts a lot of pressure on Steen when the Heat Leaders aren't winning Heats .
  15. This will test our strength in depth Team.A couple of Heat Leaders will need to pull their weight IMO.
  16. Great meeting well done to both Teams,Peterborough is a fantastic race track IMO.
  17. He is on a7 + av so couldn't replace Jensen as you have suggested,Personaly I think your post are just tongue in cheek to get attention not a lot of takers though.
  18. Yip another fine example of speedway as a professional sport, you cannot take the sport seriously. I attend nowadays just hoping to see a decent meeting. as Team sport it is a laughing stock.
  19. Fair enough, like I said just my opinion,I hope he steers clear of injuries too.
