  1. Ifail to to see what difference changing position will show any significant improvement in form.In Doolans case has rode in that position for most of his Teams.Whoever moves to No1 scores might drop if this is the case so what difference does it really make, this riding to your average is a nonsense most riders are signed because the clubs think they will improve their starting average.I agree regarding Kus wins his 1st race in 65 secs then is the length of the strait behind in aHeat that has also been won in 65 secs explain why the bike is going slower,or is not fast enough Taffy.
  2. let's face it Kevin and Matej have had a slow start to the season which put pressure on Steen who really stepped last week in response .You can't expect that every week he needs support .Think we will win at home if Ludvig doesn't gate,if he does it could be tight.
  3. One can assume whatever one wants.,as you point out you shouldn't believe everything you read on this forum.
  4. Nothing to explain, your name is in the programme as the poster pointed out and your comments on forums are open to interpretation IMO.
  5. There is a time to laugh, and a time not to laugh and this is not one of them. The Pink Pixel strikes again!
  6. Aye! BigEddie is "their man in the crowd"nowadays.Pink Panther Inspector Clouseau spring to mind.!!!!!!!!!
  7. While Stefan is maybe not quite up to League racing standard IMO,he has certainly make a lot of progress on the track and is quite stlylish .Best of luck to him.
  8. 2questions,why 16 heats and has Bellego been move to No4 ,else he would not be in Heat 14
  9. Wells seems to use PL just to top up his money to subsidise his EL Racing.Certainly appears to put more effort into his EL racing.IMO
  10. Most fans would agree with the way the Team was structured ,but when you built strenght in depth team you can't have Heat Leaders running last places against the opposing reserves.
  11. I think he was one of many of KKB's favourite riders !!!!!!!!! Also schools are still on Easter break and I think he has done all his money in the Bookies over Easter.
  12. Having watched Matt Weathers for the last 10 years while he is not a superstar he is what speedway all about 4laps 100% great entertainer in the Makovsky ,Clews mould. If he has a poor meeting you can accept it, but with some others it p*sses fans off when they consider there is lack of effort If there were more riders put in the same effort there would be a lot less moaning from fans of all teams IMO.
  13. Good Post, that's how I saw tonight's action.I fail to see how Kus and Doolan can get so far behind when they don't have a good gate and 1st corner.
  14. He had a great meeting at Shielfield in the World u/21 last year had a chance or winning if he had not fluffed his last ride.He will be the key man for Worky to get something out of the meeting IMO.
  15. your post #148 is misleading as the population of Berwick is given as 13,000.So the catchment as 30miles from Town centres is a lot more .You quote Edinburgh for Armadale as well as West Lothian, there is a significant amount of Population in the Borders within the range you are saying.
  16. Spouting catchment area's is a load of Bullsh*t IMO.There is enough people out there .
  17. How can this sport be taken seriously reserves missing for gods sake what next!!!
  18. The catchment area is the same,as Screm points out,so what exactly do you mean when responding to his post.read my post as a reply to Paulco.Everyone knows society has changed so you are just backing up what I have said.I just don't know all the reasons that new fans are not attracted to the sport.Neither do youIMO.
  19. I think you have valid point the sport is not attracting enough new fans for whatever reasons. This catchment area talk isn't valid there are still as many people live in the Borders as there was when Speedway started in Betwick.Average crowds were much higher in the 70's and 80's when the sport was more popular. Most tracks are relying on diehard fans nowadays.
  20. Armadale is a track that not many visitors impress,Shielfield is the nearest in similarity to Derwent Park so I expect a close encounter,Kyle Howarth is the key man IMO.
  21. the Workington Heat leaders will give us plenty to think about unlike the Tigers Heat Leaders we need more heat winners this week.
