It must be gutting to the riders that genuinely qualified for the meeting to find Harris now above them in the pecking order, but that's the Reason that speedway cannot be taken seriously sad times for the sport IMO -
Dont think the Berwick fans "dislike" Alex ,but lets be honest he did not perform on a number. of occasions and was injury prone. If it works out at Leicester then good luck to him.

Agree,he gave 110% but kept getting in to difficulties trying too hard. Impressed with Bates he wasn't fast but he was gusty and didn't bottle it under pressure -
your right ,he used to be indecisive now he's not so sure.
-
will this seasons matches not just be added to his rolling average?
-
I think anybody watching Seb last year will agree that he did not show his true form till the Swedish commitments ended.he is a class act at PL level and as he is a Berwick asset it makes sense to bring him in if he wanted to come back.I agree with Portybandit he would be my first name on the Team Sheet for next season.

Excellent meeting with some class young talent on show ,full marks to Kyle Howorth he was brilliant and certainly was not outclassed in this company.Unfortunately it did show how far Britain has slipped in world terms .Howorth apart and young Elliss it is hard to see where the YOUNG talent will come from it will take a few years hard work to produce some in my opinion and these countries that were represented at Berwick are churning them out.Berwick Management deserve a big pat on the back regarding overall Presention and Facilities they were excellent and very Professional.

I think you are right regarding Barker, the Ref was probably taking Barkers mentality into account and made a difficult decision.Cook needs to be taken a side and somebody have a quiet word in his ear.think he has a chip on his shoulder after the events of last week ,but these things happen in sport.Perhaps he should have throw them both out of the meeting. -

To think someone asked if I was guessing regarding these guys off track antics,I was but I think it was pretty near the mark. They are talented but they are also total plonkers ,and they are the future of British Speedway great examples!!!! -
agree with regular team place Ricky would match the scores of these second rate foreigners.Something drastic has do be done this season with EL although we've be saying that for a few seasons now!!
-
It would be the end for a few more than Ricky if that is your view on it.

Just run it as per normal 3-2-1-0. Best Team on the night wins.End Off -
Perhaps the Team Manager should also have a experienced Pit Crew to offer advice on set ups during meetings if required. The riders seem to get into all sorts of bother with their own crew sometimes.
-
Do you think that Team Manager in Speedway really makes the difference,a wee bit rider juggling and the guts to drop an out of form rider could be done by most people,if it pays off a hero if not your a numpty.I would have thought that a recently retired rider with a bit of set-up knowledge would be more beneficial whoever that may be. Just a suggestion.
-
Just guessing!! But they have attracted my attention by their antics off track.

Some Brits have a attitude problem and big ego to try and cope with ,which is beyond them
-
Trying to find someone to take the job will be the biggest challenge,Dont think the salery will be that great and certainly not worth the hassle given the calibre of riders currently available.

Padlock the gates, unless your going to charge a fiver admission

They could not score "extra" points is what I mean. The 2 riders could still only score 5 points, double points means 3 "extra "points in my book.the Joker is aptly named IMO.I seriously think Micky mouse rules have damaged the sport.Bonus points for good away performances is acceptable. But guests and double points have taken a lot of credibility away from the sport IMO.After watching Team speedway for 50+ years I feel that you are just watching Select Teams most weeks now and am losing my enthusiasm for the sport.

I think the Danish Team Manger should be sacked for failing to tell Bjerre the points situation.I it had been Team GB in this situation the usual suspects would have been calling for Middlo's head.
