Unfortunately there is not enough of your type to keep the sport alive.Others just see it as the Mickey Mouse sport it is becoming and spend their money elsewhere. Think Len got his mate to publish the letter in the Star so as he could get his tuppence worth in by replying.Len done a similar letter last year telling everybody how great the sport still is a were are all just making it up about the shortcomings in the sport

16 meetings 1a fortnight =32weeks.that won't work either then.That would take 8 months and that's not counting our warm up Tyne/ Tweed-Tees/Tweed matches.

The season was far to disjointed regarding home fixtures to many blank weeks for whatever reasons, even the Play off with 3 weeks between home fixtures .People lose interest IMO

Totally agree we need Team ethic to return not just watching whoever turns up for you Team this week,Promoters don't seem to want to address this issue though,just keep saying there is not enough riders to go round which I don't accept.

Do you not think that The BSPA should be changing the rules and make sure that riders that want to be loyal to a club are allowed .By the same token if there are no fans turning up the riders can't expect to be payed money that is not there.Full time professional speedway riders in Britain will be a thing of the past the way attendances are going or a lot of Clubs will fold..While it was a decent crowd at Armadale for the Play off Final it was not the biggest crowd I have seen there.That was the average crowd afew years ago IMO.

It is a Sport,they don't have to take the risks if they don't want too,nobody is forcing them to ride Speedway to make a living.
