The fact is that the NL is not producing riders that can hold a place in PL even with a 3pt average.(couple of exceptions but even they were not an instant hit, onlyBoxall did the transition right away then he lost the plot)I agree that foriegners should be held on their assessed average till they fullfill it.
Good light-hearted commentry from Wade and Johno.A few wee errors but still easy listening. Johno is is one of the best IMO. IMO too much track Prep in GP's just when the racing is kicking in they water the track and the processions start again .
Definately one of the greatest riders to grace speedway, as a fan who saw him in action from his Provincial days right through his career he certainly was THE main attraction when he visited your track and certainly never let anybody down, the ulitimate professional who changed the sport IMO .
Brave venture IMO. At the price dont fancy it's chances .Speedway is pretty much covered in present Mags £5 a shot for something that appears to "be the same but different" is a big gamble.
If this is true there is obviously agood reason for it but IMO it would be a bad move as most of the fans are on the present 1st/ 2nd bend while nobody stands on the 3rd /4th bend as you cannot see any racing due to the height of the safety fence ,also I think the present 3rd/4th bend is a bit tight for 4 riders at the start of a race.
Fail to see why everybody only seem to concentrate on Australians who dont make the grade, there are plenty of teams had other "foreigners " who turned out to be useless.Work Permits are just an excuse IMO.
Best of luck to Robert really unlucky in his spell with Berwick saw him in the 2 away matches and was impressed with him then had the unlucky injury in his 1st home match (not his fault)
Bad injury at Berwick last season still recovering
