The roof is the bonus. IMO.While it was not a GP you have ask why they can’t fill the Stadium .Obviously the majority think they got the pricing wrong , but it shows how much it costs to put on event.Every British Speedway fan would like to see a GP at NSS though.

Don’t know how much it costs but even at 20,000 that’s 5 times the crowd of NSS.Personally would love to see them have it at NSS.Cardiff is just a ritual Weekend away for lot of fans speedway is secondary.IMO

It would be fantastic to have GP at Belle Vue but financially another big risk if overpriced it again.Cardiff has proved the fans are not prepared to put up with an overpriced Weekend and Accommodation and that with a weather guarantee which Manchester doesn’t give. Interesting looked at a Premier Inn in Stockport last Weekend for £69 which suggested to me there was not a sellout at NSS.IMO. How much money do FIM contribute to these smaller venues for GP’s

If British Speedway is too cheap, then it is in more trouble than I thought.Your theory must be double the admission will double the crowd. ps Younger people can probably afford it but are just not interested

Must give great Credit to the Organisers of the Whole Event very Professional and ran like clockwork considering everything that was throw at them weather wise and track.Also the riders to their credit who just got on with it.Peoples criticism of Phil Morris is unjustified he runs a good show.

Sounds like they were trying to get the fans to pay for the Temporary Stand that has been rumoured Discovery insisted on and GB Speedway had to pay for.

Whatever way you look at it it shows the support for Speedway in Uk is dwindling.Unfortunately.Promoters need to get their act together and try and sort it out.

Would agree,think there are lots of Complimentary freebies about at Wimbledon. Corporate stuff.Just like Speedway Pits at times.

Think you will find that most of the empty seats were fans away for a break or food after 1st Semi Final.It filled up again.Same with Women’s Semi Final matches.Unfortunately that is not the case at Belle Vue. Cursed by the weather doesn’t help either.

Very similar to the Harris/Kemp incident at Berwick recently ,the Ref excluded Harris, unfairly IMO
