  1. For what it's worth i think Rob has got it right here. I know Eddie will be disappointed, but i'm guessing that all that we're at Leszno practiced & the decision was based on what was seen & not Monday's scoring. We need to step back a bit & remember that this building for the future that we're seeing here & the result is of less significance. Good Luck Lee, Chris, Lewis, Tai & Danny
  2. In fact UE was so incensed he had to say it twice wulfy
  3. It goes the same with the tennis as well, when young Murray wins he's a super Brit, when he loses he's a useless "Jock" Hee hee that'll get Snyper off on one
  4. I mentioned this on Friday Al, somethings been missing the last few meetings.
  5. As i have seen on another thread that Eddie is the only one in the squad without a Polish team this year, here's the answer. Another reason is that Eddie does seem to get found wanting on big wide circuits, &they don't come bigger & wider than Leszno.
  6. Hang on, doesn't Mark Loram have Maltese blood in his veins?
  7. Sue, my dear, did you know i caught a glimpse of you on the TV I wholeheartedly agree with you, well there's a first for everything
  8. A great idea trees, bring back The Ashes at top level as well as where we see it now, bring the russians over here, the poles as well, back in the 70's we seen that every year. but also, i'd like to see these youngsters touring as well , in Poland, Sweden, Australia in the winter. This is the best way they can learn.
  9. What a great advert for speedway this was. Thanks heavens the rain came & good old Buster was able to do some work on the track, we heard from commentary that Mr Olsen wasn't best pleased hehe. From a British perspective that was pretty much as i expected result wise but was disappointed with Eddie's performance. Danny & Lewis though we're fantastic & proved Rob Lyon was right with his selection, gutted for Danny in his last outing though.Let's not forget that Lewis defeated the mighty Tomasz Gollob. In reality i think the race-of is as far as we're going, those lads will learn from experience of Leszno though & gee is it gonna be a hell of a lesson. The Poles, to a man, thoroughly deserve their progression to the final, Miedzinski was a surprise & certainly hope he is 1 of the Brandon targets. I still have my doubts if we' targeting Pepe, even though he was superb last night....and what about the fence scraping, scary or what. Can't wait for the race- off now.
  10. Correct & subs are used during a fixture not bought in to replace another which is exactly my point Snyper.
  11. No. No.No. This is exactly why reserves we're taken out in the 1st place, remember what the poles did in 2007.
  12. The answer is yes, but there must be certain guidelines as to how a reserve can be used, such as we seen last night. It must be very clear that a reserve can only be used if a rider becomes unfit to race during the meeting as the result of an incident.
  13. If you we're at Brandon yesterday you wouldn't even have known it, both acknowledged each others racing from what i saw, really people need to put this one to bed now & let them both get on with their racing.
  14. Well Orion there we're a team of apparent "no hopers" tonight that have won a place in the world cup final. How did they do it? Simply by being a team & taking inspiration from their star rider. So you see it is possible, & i certainly hope The Brits we're watching & taking heart.
  15. No brainer. The Wembley area is crap for facilities & Cardiff is..........well, as i said it's a no brainer.
  16. Stoney=Legend didn't say Scott was a better rider they said he was on that occasion , dimwit.
  17. Let's be honest. The OZ are gonna win this anyway aren't they so why not give the youngsters a shot at it?I take my hat off to Lyon for sticking to his guns. Richardson will be in the team at Leszno, he is by far the best Brit in Poland, but as for Scott who knows, the way Lewis was talking last night didn't suggest Scott would be in.
  18. I agree that Scott should not be in at Peterborough it's not a good track for him even when his form is good. King is a surprise, but he did well for them at home last season so i know where Rob Lyon is coming from. Both Scott & Rico should be in for Leszno.
  19. Janet, i certainly hope you weren't dancing on the coach.
  20. Well it's on th B.S.P.A site now, or at least it should be, click read more & it says Thursday 1st January 1970
  21. I agree Wembley Lion. Holloway was a disgrace, even more so than the 2 riders.
