So Rye House went to great trouble to bring in KK. By my reckoning Poole have just about secured 4th spot because Rye House matches against Kings Lynn will not be run in time!!!! If Rye were to race against Kings Lynn they look nailed on for 4th spot. What was the point of bringing KK in if you don't run all of your matches....seems a bit of a waste of time and effort to me!

Hi All, It appears a few teams haven't been able to reschedule matches before 6th September...namely Rye House, Kings Lynn and Somerset. I assume the date will be extended otherwise it makes a farce of the league! The cynics amongst us would say it is a farce anyway with one match a fortnight if you are lucky in the summer and now having to cram 5 matches into two weeks at the death!

I see that Redcar and Edinburgh are racing on Saturday night, does that mean Barker and Wells are missing at Leicester.....anyone know if that's the case and who is replacing them ...or not? -
I took my 15 year old daughter, she loved it, the old boy Hurry shepherding the young fellow Bowtell home. Morley looks great at his level ( saw him last night at Rye, he is gradually coming on!) Was Cook there today? Kelvin discussing tactics with Paul and Ben before heat 15. Thanks to JPB guesting, he certainly looks a good prospect. If you haven't been, don't hesitate to go as it's great fun!

I would imagine that KK will be up in the main body of the team by then, with Robbo at reserve, so not so much of a problem! Although the token guest would have to have 3 rides (ahem!) -
Is everyone going to be able to complete all of their matches. Personally, Rye House seem to be up against it ,as their match against Leicester was rained off midweek and tomorrow against Swindon looks under threat from the rain. Can the season be extended if necessary?

I am glad you got the gist of what I am saying, the more skilful riders can adapt to the tight confines of Leicester / Wolves / Lakeside...but not everyone can and they can be shown up in a big way!...I just personally like this aspect of racing more than' gas and go'. -

I totally agree that you don't get flowing racing, but the riders have to think a lot more as to what they are doing instead of just winding the throttle on! Which IMO makes for ' interesting' racing! -

That's the beauty of a technical track, having to knock off the gas and reapply at different times...much better than the flat out tracks that absolutely anyone can ride!!! -

Lakeside Vs Belle Vue, 21/9/16...

I am hopeful that out top four of Lawson/Bridger/Kennett and Nilsson will pick up paid 9 from R/R. Providing they score in their own rides and our reserves score a combined 9... I predict we will win by 14 ..and that should make it interesting for next Monday -
And what's that got to do with anything.....
