  1. I'm still having no luck think i'll just follow on the updates now. First meeting i've not been too in about 2 years.
  2. Think i am going to give up, I click on sign in and it seems to be that if i've bought entrance tickets online I use those details but i've clicked on fire hydrants etc to prove im not a robot but it keeps asking for my password which i've already done about 4 times
  3. I want to watch the live stream on Witches TV but I need to set up an account first, I can only find a sign in link but I need a link to set up an account any help would be appreciated Also can I cast it from my mobile to TV or should I sign up directly on my smart TV
  4. I was hoping for Kevin Coombes (ex Eastbourne) or Craig Saul
  5. Either the track staff are all sworn to silence OR they are all as peed off with the deafening silence as we fans are and no one turned up. I'm already making other plans for where to spend my money on Thursday nights other than Foxhall Stadium, somewhere they will appreciate my custom and my money. It seems to me us loyal Ipswich fans don't matter any more. Even a short statement with the current position would be better than nothing
  6. Link to Jason Doyle interview with BBC Suffolk https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/motorsport/articles/ce86gxg9wldo
  7. I have been going to speedway since the mid 60s and I'm gutted at what is happening at Ipswich speedway I hope it continues to operate but am not holding out much hope. Chris standing down as Promoter must have been a really hard decision for him to make considering how long he and his dad before him have been associated with the club but I respect the decision he has made whatever the reasons maybe. It was well run and well supported and with a really good supporters club as well. I loved going there and will really miss it if this is the end as Oxford, Kings Lynn, Leicester, the next nearest clubs to me are between 2 to 3 hours traveling each way which will make going on a regular basis impossible. The question is why did I start going to Ipswich, the answer is simple it is not because of what league it was in it was because all the other clubs within traveling distance on a regular basis closed down and I would imagine there are many more fans like me who go to a club on a regular basis that just want to see 4 riders doing 4 laps round the track. I loved watching Emil and Doyle but I also enjoyed watching Dan T and Jordan along with the rest of the team just as much. Whether you call it Premiership, Championship, NDL or something else it still boils down to 4 riders doing 4 laps round a track. I don't want to see GP riders disappearing from UK teams but more than that what I really want is to see speedway in the UK continuing not dying a gradual death and that is what Promoters need to consider above all else when making any decisions and they need to make those decisions based on what is going to help the sport not on decisions that will benefit them personally. .
  8. Taking Iwade and Mildenhall out of the picture, If Ipswich close down my nearest stadiums depending on the traffic 2 hours each way to Oxford, 2and half hours each way to Leicester, 3 and half hours each way to Poole, a sport I've followed since the mid 60s is now no longer viable - gutted is putting it mildly and I can't be the only one who can no longer go to speedway because of the travelling distance. If I feel like it I will be able to go to Ipswich if it runs whether in the top league or championship, depending on what diabolical system comes out of the AGM in January but whether by next Spring I will be inclined to bother remains to be seen.
  9. Anyone using A12 check your route there's been a lorry fire near junction 23, which I think is Witham traffic barely moving we've been stuck in it for an hour so far
  10. I know that but surely commonsense should also prevail, maybe not this is speedway. I have a good idea let the referee call the meeting result now incase it rains.
  11. We'll never know will we, but as a race consists of 4 laps then at least 3 should be completed to call a result surely.
  12. Not a good call, anything could have happened in a re run including, engine failure, puncture etc commentary team spot on
  13. Thanks for the reminder I'd forgotten Lion stream their meetings I'll be watching tonight.
  14. If his wrist is much worse than people are aware of as was mentioned in an earlier post why is he risking further injury on a Polish track, they may be easier to ride but that doesn't mean that another rider won't take Cook out, as happened to Woffinden, and cause further maybe permanent damage to his wrist maybe ending his career., we all know he's only following Polish orders, If Cook thinks we Brits believe the garbage he put out in his statement he is sorely mistaken. Polish speedway think they can do what they like (and they do) and our weak kneed BSPL never stand up to them. I just hope no British club considers signing Ben Cook in the future after this p..s take and that the BSPL give him a ban and perhaps there is some way of withdrawing his Visa.
